Damn, good sized flier, ouch! 😖 Post a pic once she's back in pristine shape. 😎

Its the most helpless feeling. I saw it and had zero time to react. There where lots of four letter words.
I know that helpless feeling! I've had a few instances where the world seemed to stop and you can't do a thing about it! Glenn

I got the PPF removed today and im very impressed with how well it protected the paint. There is no paint damage outside of one tiny scratch that should buff out. Had I not had the PPF im sure Id be looking at repainting the hood. Up next is PDR.

The bad news is the trucking company won't take responsibility and my only recourse is filing a claim through my insurance and hope for a reimbursement. Ive decided its simply not worth a claim on my record to chase a few hundred bucks. So out of pocket it is. 😕

No one these days want to take responsibility for anything. I would go the same route your taking. PPF has saved me in the past. All my cars have it in the critical areas. The only draw back is removing it after ten years to get new.

Im a little late with an update, but the dent was pulled, hood polished, and new PPF is on.

For anyone doubting PPF, it did its job and saved me from a repaint.

Oh. I want to ask you... If garaged, not so much exposed to sun on regular basis, would you remove it after 10 years really? I was thinking 7 to keep it on. If 10 years would last ok, I would reconsider re-apply new one….

How bad was it to remove in your case? Did the glue separated ?
