I was going for an oil change for my 2019 RR PP1 vert at the local ford dealer, and the wait at the fastlane was over an hour. So I said let me take a look at the new mustangs I've been hearing about.
So I walk to the showroom (the fastlane is a separate building) the back way. I spot a new 2024 mustang, but the sticker is on the dash. So I think that this is a sold car. It is specked out exactly the way I would do it, pretty much a one-for-one with my 2019 PP1 mustang. Performance pack, convertible, mageneride, active exhaust. So I mosey on over to a salesman and ask if the car is for sale.
He says some guy just backed out of the deal. It was a special order and he has someone coming this afternoon to look at it.
I'm no dummy, I said my car is at the fastlane. Take a look at it and lets see if we can make a deal. To make the story short, I had bought it by the time I left.
Moral of the story (at least for wives) is not to let your hubby go get oil changes by themselves.
I'll have pics soon.
