Steeda H-Pipe is hands down the most enjoyable mod I've done, with stock active exhaust it sounds way better to me than the full Borla S-Type catback I had on my S550. I don't regret anything so far but I've had long enough and a few cars to learn what's worth adding and what isn't.

Cargo net in the trunk. We always take the Mustang when we go out shopping unless I'm by myself, then I'll take my GTO. No other mods yet, wife is very happy with her car as is. :)

Dislike: Carbon Fiber steering wheel with LED lights (I wish I got it without the LEDs, no one knows how to connect it in the S650s)

Do you have a sound clip of your exhaust setup? I have the Borla S-Type catback installed and I did not know they made an H pipe until your post. You have me considering purchasing the H-pipe and switching it out.

Tbh, not a major difference, it sounds slightly better (deeper) but I wouldn’t say it’s a significant change.

I generally regard "mods" as performance or mechanical in nature. Like a tune, exhaust, or suspension. Ive done none of that on my S650 and have no plans to. But I have done those things on previous S550s and the only one I regretted was lowering springs from Steeda.

The minor functional or visual things I have done are - added PP wheels, Air Design spoiler, shock tower and K-brace (highly recommend if you're car didnt already come with it), Dark Horse rear fender splash guards, Pioneer sub upgrade, Dash cam, rubber mustang floor mats from Ford, seat belt extenders, front clip PPF, and Cermaic coating. I also added RTR style hood stripes but had to take them off recently due to rock damage. 😕

Edited to include everything I forgot. Lol

I haven't done any mods yet but I have a RAH Performance HX pipe that will be installed soon.

A minor thing is 3D floor mats. Also had them on my S550 and they're nice.

The only cargo net I’ve seen is the vertical one that attaches across the rear at the taillights. I thinks it’s pretty useless. Or, maybe I’m not using it correctly or to its full utility. Do you have one that lays horizontal across the floor? If so, where do you attach the forward ends? I don’t see any attachment points behind the back seats.

I regret trading in my 2017 Mustang GT on a 2024 Mustang GT. My 2017 was a 6-speed manual and this 2024 is an automatic. Worst decision I've made 😭
You are aware they make the S650 in manual transmission right? 😉

Like @AZ_Ryan; I've been very judicious in making mods to my GT (unlike some previous vehicles). Haven't made any performance mods (except as noted below) and stayed with cosmetic stuff.

Air Design splitter
DAR wing
splash guards
SVE wheel/Nitto tire pkg (cosmetic and performance)
BilletWorkz met red shift knob
Carbonfiber (red) paddle extensions
red interior trim
Think Auto dry air filters
J & L oil separator

Regrets: None so far! A first in my misspent modification history! 😆

EDIT: Badges (replaced the alloy/black inset OEM 5.0 and GT badges with all black after market badges
And, DIY front fender liner hole plug kit
