Of the ten Mustangs that I have owned, including this 2024 GT, three of them were Coyotes (2024 GT, 2019 GT, 2011 GT). Of those three Coyotes, all three have had the tick at one time or another. I would even bet that a large percent of Coyote owners who say they don't have the tick, actually...
I check mine about every 1k miles and it usually has around a tablespoon of oil in the can. Like previously said, check it more frequently at first to see how much oil you collect. That strut tower brace does make it a little bit more of a pain, for sure.
I said the same thing at first since my Mustang is my daily driver and I drive 90% of the time locally, so no need to charge or worry about charging it. However; I understand as I do the same thing with my motorcycle as it is a weekend toy for me.
MMR, do you have additional information/ photos of this oil cooler installed and not installed? Also, I see that it mounts behind the drivers side lower bumper grill…does it also us a sandwich style adapter and include all necessary installation hardware/brakets? Thanks...
Yeah, it’s brutal, which I personally don’t mind. Its hard to tell in that video of how loud and deep it is. I would cringe on the early morning startups….lol, my Wife would text me saying “That is sooo loud” from inside our house at the opposite end of the house. I have the Corsa Xtremes now...
I liked the Flowmaster Outlaw (Active) with the H-Pipe, just too loud for cold starts. It has a very deep sound at idle/mid and gets quite loud reving. I live in a neighborhood and trying to keep the peace, lol. The active valving does reduce drone and cruising noise in quiet mode but it really...
Yeah, when I upgraded my sway bars, I pulled the stock air boxes and noticed the same issue. Mine was crunched up a bit on the passenger side. It is likely due to the odd angle that the passenger airbox has to be placed in when installed as it doesn't line up on its own. It has to be guided in...
Oh and for anyone who reads this thread and gets the Steeda end links, don’t over grease them (you shouldn’t have to grease them brand new) or you will likely force grease through/ out of the covers possibly causing the springs/bands that secure the covers to roll off and expose the joint to...
The whole point of a forum like this is to be able to reference shared info, especially for new owners…given they use the search function properly. Deleting threads takes away from this. Otherwise, you might as well just have a Facebook page. There used to be a lot of active forums with a...
I’d definitely put on the sleeve isolators first to make sure that they aren’t your issue. At least before spending the extra money. Ours may not be the same cause.
A lot of the time they do from the factory (K&N). I usually wrap the brand new filters with a shop rag on the outside of the filter for a little while before installing to soak up the extra oil when they are new/freshly oiled.
Steeda, just a shout out! As you can see in my signature, I have a lot of parts from you on my S650 and just noting that my experience with your company has been great. I actually visited your Valdosta, GA location about a decade ago with my S197 and even then the customer service was great. I...
South Carolina has Mustangs as well. I’m waiting to roll up to one and see how they like it. My Dad is a retired SC Highway Patrol and had 2x Fox Mustangs and 1 Camaro as his patrol car. I thought they were the coolest things when I was a kid. Still do, lol.
Been a bit since I updated this thread  . Suspension is done and car is about done until I add additional rear subframe support, if needed, and additional power if/when third party tuning is available. I haven’t decided on the current option, Whipple, at this time as I’d like to see the...
