Speaking of, there was a batch of gloss black DH reps, never clicked the buy button so fast!!

should be here by start of next week, worth the extra 50 to have gloss black for me.

It's all a marketing scheme following a trend... Slap "Carbon Fiber" on it and they'll buy. Fuck that, not me. Surprised they haven't' infused the "AI" craze into the mix

Hot New Item High Quality AI Engineered Genuine Carbon Fiber Tire Valve Stem Caps, Set of 4, only $49.95 + tax

They are definitely cashing in, probably because it's logistically easier to do low volume/high margin. People who would spend $1200 for a cf splitter that doesn't look any better than a plastic one are the problem here

I have the air designs rear spoiler on my other trunk pannel. Other than the paint being easy to scratch at the mere thought of a touch the underlying part is very solid. I also have the front lip spoiler but their cheap tape slipped and left a gap. So i had to pull it off and yes i did proper prep just unlucky. I usually remove and replace factory supplied tape as its junk. Strangely enough the ebay dark horse spoiler had really good tape withh it go figgure. Just an fyi the eco hood vent is cosmetic only.

tail fins --> spoilers
curb feelers --> splitters
burlwood --> carbon fiber

Fads change, but it's always something.

True but it seems a tad imballanced the s550 had a fair amount of choice from abs to cf parts. Just seems overly focused on cf parts then even a fad allows for and its not like its a new thing.

As the title says whats with 90% of the of aftermarket being very overpriced cf parts for this generation. Like anderson having an 800.00 gt hood vent replacement. I mean wth. Anyone else waiting on non cf parts. Mind you nothing against the look if thats your vibe.
Anderson is the only carbon to get if needed.

Because wet carbon parts makes the most profit and their lighter weight convinces buyer it’s lighter and better than say aluminium, etc.
