    I would do it to reduce the chances of rodent infestation. My two other cars had rats building a nest under the engine cover, I’ve since removed them and open the hood if I’m not driving them for more than two days.

    Hell no I wouldn’t run 20w50 and I live in a tropical weather. I would however eventually move towards a API SQ oil 0w40. On track I would run 5w50 or 10w60.
