Curious if anyone has went from a 18-23GT performance pack to a 24+ dark horse? Thinking hard on trading in the 2019 GT Performance pack 1 to a 24 dark horse 6 speed and wonder what your thoughts were on it? (performance, interior, exterior, options..etc) Also any major difference between regular and premium? It seems the dark horses are already optioned with everything (trying to find a brochure from 24 to confirm that)

I found a 2024 Dark horse in Atlas blue with 2k miles on it and wondered what kind of differences there are compared to the two cars and if anyone has either owned and driven both to give me some insight on the differences and if its worth it. Ive had the 2019 since it was new and it was 40k miles on it now. I love the 10 speed, but i miss shifting a lot and the upgrade in technology and apperance has definitely caught my eye.

I previously owned a 2019 GT A10 PP1 and have driven multiple Dark Horse HP cars - just depends what you are looking for

Drag Racing- going to the 6 speed is going to be slower / Dark Horse will be slower in a straight line....my car is faster then a Dark Horse in a straight line and I think 3 or 4 out of 5 races Im losing to a PP1 A10 car .....

Going around corners - the Dark Horse is a FAR superior car and its not even close (especially with the HP)

I sold my 21 GT500 because I did not want to paddle shift anymore and wanted to row gears again. I started by looking at GT350's, SOA Shelbys, and then settled on the DH. Found a DH with 700A package and the Handling Pack. 6-speed! The rest is history.

Yes, the GT500 DTC and the 10Spds may be faster in a straight line, but this time out, I am not built for straight lines. Even if I were, I still wanted to row gears. So rowing gears I shall have.

Wow! That's saying something to give up a GT500 for a DH. I thought i was out of line trading in a PP1 S550 for a 6 speed dark horse. So glad to hear its an upgrade to you to merit the trade. Im sure ill enjoy my 'upgrade' as well.

All of my previous cars/mustangs have been manual for the last 20+ years up until this last one (the 10 speed really won me over) and as much as i enjoy it, ive I owed it 6 years and its time to go back to shifting. Especially since i dont drag race/roll race.. i cruise and daily drive it, and its just missing something not being able to shift your own gears!

The one im looking at is not a handling pack. as much as i like what its capable of ,the tires wearing out every 10-15k miles is not a selling point to me, especially something i will be driving more often.
