The weight can already be calculated based on the GVW that Ford is listing on internal documentation that any Ford Service employee has access to...
Go on then. Spit it out. :)

EDIT: Just to sweeten the deal: Give us all the weight within 10lbs and I'll share some homemade poutine with you.

I don't have that access. You can ask somebody here that has posted in this very thread if they'll provide it to you.

Your best bet is to find a small town dealer, pay the $3,500 for them to register and give you the allocation.

that’s the move, I’m expecting 50k ADMs
Anyone willing to pay MSRP+50K needs to get their head checked. Much better options out there at that price point, IMO.

A comment that could only be made by someone who doesn’t have the expendable funds to buy one. No different than any other rare/and or luxury product. If you want it and have the checkbook for it then it a no brainer (Pun intended).

Anyone willing to pay a dime over MSRP IMO is a damn fool! I said the same thing when people were paying $25,000 over for a Shelby GT500 back in 2007. I will say Shelby's from 2007 to 2022 are holding their value extremely well! Beyond unusual for a car which is a horrible investment to begin with, yet a necessary evil. Real estate is a far safer choice and equity rarely ever goes down. Right on this very forum there is a 2025 Dark Horse owner that states he will have to sell at a $12,000 to $15,000 loss! Reality is this the Dark Horse is so new it is not proven to have a cult following from owners like any Shelby, Boss, Mach 1 or Bullitt. I will hold my tongue on the name change as the car will make the name, the name won't make the car. Yet many have stated this is a car from the leftover parts bin from 2022. We will see, but paying an A(sshole) D(ealer) M(arkup) for this seems extremely foolish when you can get a Corvette for MSRP no problem. Plus, there are Z06's everywhere. They are not in short supply. Then you have the Dodge Charger. Better yet pay MSRP and put the $50,000 ADM in the stock market, gold, silver what have you!

LOL! The last car I bought likely cost more than the DHSC MSRP+50K, and I paid for it in cash. You know how I got to that point? By not making dumb ass financial decisions like paying 50K over MSRP for a car.

Not being offered with a manual...probably not going to be expressing interest in this car. The S650 overall is just lacking to me from a style perspective. There's a lot going on with the DH SC (not in a good way) and the design doesn't flow. There are elements that look aftermarket in a cheap way. First impressions for me, not interested.

I was hoping that Ford would offer something different than a supercharged 5.2. Something that was more aligned with what they're actually racing on the track like the 5.4 and make it available with both a DCT and a manual. I will say that it is a much more compelling car than the GTD however considering the difference in price. Even if they price this car at $130K it's knocking on the door of the GTD at less than half the price. I understand the bespoke design of the GTD, transaxle etc but that car is a 4,400 lbs monstrosity. I continue to thank Ford that they didn't accept my application for the GTD as I likely would have gone through with it, consequently with regret. Especially since the release of this new DH SC.

Keeping my GT350 R Hep....

Yeah, I've done a lot of business with a lot of different people over the years and the one thing we can all agree on, is standing on principle. Speak with your wallet. Not a penny over.
a policy i will always follow is "MSRP or no sale", not including dealer add-ons or extra warranties of course. and so far, i'm 2 for 2 with vehicles ordered vs ordered vehicles purchased at MSRP. here's hoping that if i get to order one, the DH SC makes that 3 for 3. i always employ a tactic of high risk orders, where if the deal falls through the spec is going to limit who even wants it

I'm not paying MSRP for an American made vehicle either.

Of all the new cars I have bought in my life the only one I paid MSRP for was Honda Odyssey right in the middle of COVID
