Does anyone also think that the new DH SC grille will be part of the regular 2027 Mustang refresh line-up?

Absolutely not and for the same reason Ford banned the GTD bodykit... It would hurt sales. But I would assume that the refresh will have some styling elements in it. However, the SC isn’t all that different compared to the regular S650. Sure, more Aero and functional parts but all in all it’s just a more streamlined design with an overall bigger front grill.

Comparing it with the S550 GT vs GT500 the S650/SC is just not as different as the Shelby and the GT were. The Shelby GT500 stood out more in quite literally every aspect but maybe that’s just me.

I wouldn't doubt it. Heck, look at all the different grills Ford has for the various F150s! What makes the Mustang special?

The grilles on the last whole generation of Shelby GT500's were absolutely beautiful! The grille in the new SC looks like something that they adopted from a Checker Cab!

I wondered the same thing when I saw it.

But I doubt it will be the same as the 27 GT. They need to seperate the cars to sell different versions. That said im not encouraged by the design direction. The S550 front end refresh was hideous.

It doesn't look like something which was been done and thought from the beginning, but a last minute haircut after too many tequila shots.

The grill has a specific purpose. Bigger oiler cooler and bigger opening for intercooler. Both not needed on a natural aspirated engine.
