Sales are supposedly up, you don't refresh a vehicle that is selling as is, you make every last part you can from the tooling you have already paid for.
That is why the 7G cars share so much with the 6G cars, once the tooling and R&D is amortized the rest is profit.

We would have known by now if there was a refresh for the 2027 MY. I would guess Ford is keeping 2026 Mustang production going a little longer because of the late timing of the 2026 Dark Horse SC. They wouldn't want to be building 2026 DH SCs at the same time as 2027 models of other trim levels.
