All I want is a street car. I have some. Dreaming is good.

I like to disassemble things.
I've made the DCT mistake before and boredom sat in quick for me. Made me sell and vowel to never buy another auto sports car.
Let me guess. It wasn't the DCT behind the 5.2 in a '20-'22 GT500, right?

There's a reason a gated 360 Ferrari is a dream for so many. A true drivers car. Paddle shifters just aren't the same. It doesnt matter how fast the car is. As a motorcycle rider, I want nothing to do with those Honda automatics. Clarkson, May, and Hammond shit all over flappy paddle gearboxes for the better part of 15 years. That tells me all I need to know.

Stick all the way. Yes a dual clutch (or the current automatics are faster).. but you don't have that visceral connection to the engine. Had a 488GTB... same thing. Takes a ton of the driving experience away. Go look at Porsche... there are BIG premiums on cars with manual over dual clutch... same with Ferrari. That's why.

No, I had a C8. But I have driven the 20-22 GT500, and it just does nothing for me. Point car straight, push loud pedal fast in a car gets boring quick. Yes, I know you can use the paddles, but no one really does. We are all humans and if a easier path is presented(aka, put in D and drive) that's the path we will typically follow. The phrase "Path of least resistance" was created for such reasons, lol.

Man, I thought they were heterosexual, but now that I've found out they're gay, you must be right. Their collective lifetimes of testing cars now means nothing to me.

That w ⚓ Clarkson spent 15 minutes once bitching about how the speedo disappeared on a Ferrari when you used nav. While the pompous dick was ranting on, you could easily see the secondary speed display in front of him.
Absolute rooster.

It all depends if they went to Public School or not.
For those in the US, public schools in England are very expensive, very snobbish private schools.

LOL I’ve made that promise so many times to my wife. But I’m still here to tell you about it. She is never happy with my choices with my frequent car changes but there are worse things. 🤪
Same here and I hate when she tells that story to friend's and family!!! I cringe but I see where I was the problem. I’ve slowed since then and am trying to do better … 😉😉😉!!
