Anyone giving up their 6sp DH for a new DH SC?
Now let's she I have a Shadow Black, Dark Horse Premium, HP, AP, 700a Recaros with a Tremec 6 spd a Whipple supercharger and race axles. Can't think of a good reason to put out all that cash for basically the car I already have minis the 6 speed manual.

I went with DRP Motorsports flex tune. He did some good stuff with the ethanol learning and he’s very easy to communicate with.
Huge difference plus I kept my Soler performance throttle controller which make a great combo with the tune. Car is such just perfect now imo, much better than stock
So do you think this will have any issues for you when taking it to the Dealer (if you do) for any warranty type work?? Been on the fence with letting my guy Bryan (from Mexico Racing League) install the Lund Racing Tune on my GT!! He loves it as it gives him just what he wants as in extra HP.

This is my 3rd mustang since 15 and I’ve tuned them all.
I do not bring my car to the dealer for anything .
I buy my motorcraft oil there and say hi.
I really don’t think a tune would cause an issue

Neither car was broken in, but my salesman, who I’ve bought many Mustangs from, let me go full board on it on the freeway. There was no comparison between the stick and the Auto.
Yeah, takes no skill to slam the pedal down.
Whatever man, enjoy how fast you are.

Yeah, you’re so cool and skilled, driving a stick, youre one the few, a rare breed, that can do it. I’m simply awed by your ability.

Don’t feel bad that you spent all that money while you’re left in the dust!! You’ll get over it, I’m sure!!

Must be a skill since most young thieves have no idea how to drive them… lol

And yeah; I am cool.
I’ve riden 4-wheelers, croch rockets, Harleys all on the track too. I’m just telling you, autos suck for the fun of motorsports.
It’s really not a debate

I like having more HP less drivetrain loss to the wheels.
You just don’t have full control of the car with an auto.
Always felt like it drove me .
I’m sure the 7-speed dual clutch is pretty awesome for an automatic though. I’d love to try it
I'm certainly not contesting your right to buy and drive what you want. I feel engaged with the paddle shifters, especially after a good tune is applied. Lightening fast shifts, crisp and responsive. I enjoyed a good big block four speed back in the day when they were the used cars. Then I was running fox bodies with heavily built stroker windsors with t speeds. Technology evolves and they now build automatics with smaller rev drops. No, I'm not pushing my choice, it's simply my choice.

When I had the Mach, I drove with paddles 90% of the time. Other than coming to a stop light , the paddles were fun.

I promised my wife I wouldn't buy another car for 2 years...one week ago when my special ordered dark horse was delivered. Then of course the Dark Horse SC was announced and I'm drooling again. The Tremec is the one thing that gives me pause and is the reason I went with GT350 vs 500 last gen. So...perhaps if the SC is still available in 2028...but for now, I've got 53 miles on my grabber blue dark horse, no way I'm letting it go.

I think you’ll be good to go for about 2 years until Ford gives us the S650 version of the GT350 which should have a manual.

That could be the additional Mustang that was still under wraps. Maybe that debuts this time next year and goes on sale spring/Summer 2027?

LOL I’ve made that promise so many times to my wife. But I’m still here to tell you about it. She is never happy with my choices with my frequent car changes but there are worse things. 🤪

Hell No! The Tremec in the DH is the best manual I have ever driven by far, as Ghastly said, such a drivers car. Maybe one day a ESS Supercharger but it's really not needed as the Tune I have makes the car plenty fast and I have other hobbies to blow my money on.
Same me, love the manual stick shift regardless of my age! Rather be busy than lazy in a car!
