under 2000 miles ... wot 1st & 2nd gear, clean clear 75F day... hesitation around 6200rpms. Getting slightly worse over the last week. This in "sport mode".

Any ideas? Haven't done any data logging... I mean.. come on... it's a new car. Bone stock.

What do you mean by "hesitation" ? You don't feel the torque at about 5k rpm?, there is no acceleration ? Is it auto or manual ?

2025 GT. Manual Trans. Bone stock. approx 1900 miles.

Feels normal at WOT from at stop accelerating in 1st gear until somewhere between 6500 & 6800 (didn't log it) when it feels like the throttle was lifted slightly for 200rpms ish then it pulls hard again until redline.

Still accelerating but feels like you lift off the throttle slightly slowing the acceleration for a couple hundred rpms, then back to WOT (even though I'm not lifting).

Same after shifting to 2nd and WOT through the rpm range to redline.

This in sport mode.

No tire slippage. Dry clear cool day. Not run-after-run heat soak/heat related.

It just doesn't pull clean to redline.

I thought I felt it before. Now it's gotten worse and repeatable.

It's now happening consistently at 6200.

Doesn't matter the drive mode, or stability/ traction control on or off.

Same

Feels like you lift off the throttle from wot to 80% throttle to redline.

Becoming more pronounced

No DTC codes

Stock tune it begins to close 1 of throttle bodies in the upper rpm to reduce torque into the shift point. Pretty well documented and normal.

try in drag mode perhaps.

I personally have not noticed this on my 24. She pulls hard to the limiter. Have my shift light set at 6800 only because the RPMs rip by so fast in first and second I need a little extra time before I bounce of the rev limiter. Have only done that once, but it definitely shut the car down at 7250.

6200 rpms seems a little early.

I just got a 2025 GT premium A10 4 weeks ago, bone stock and it does a complete fuel cut off around 6500 rpm in first gear. Is this normal?

What fuel are you using?

Did you try it in Drag Mode, as he suggested? It's ok. It does not mean you have to be wearing women's clothing. It is a mode selection on your dashboard that changes some of the settings, maybe including this driveline protection tuning. Try it out.

I understand what drag mode is and how to activate. Same no matter the mode. It's right at approx 6200rpms. Feels like you let off the gas abut 1/2 way for a split second then back to full throttle.

A user here (on this thread) informed me that as a part of the tq management in the factory map, one of the TB's closes (to what degree I do not know). I don't know why it would reduce power for a split second then restore full power at 6200rpms (makes zero sense) but I guess that's what happening.

For my car there is no recovery in rpm, if the car is in manual shifting it will just fuel cut and won't accelerate and will just decel if no other input is done.

Basically a hard fuel cut and just decel in gear until I shift or brake or modulate the gas until it fuel cuts again.

Does not happen in my A10.

So this must be a manual only thing.

Do the new tunes tune this out? Is it necessary for some reason with a clutch to keep the driveline from breaking?
