Oh zing! lol. But hey, if you got the Billetworkz shifter you would love the difference. The mechanism and just overall feel of it is so much better. 10 minute easy install.Poor Starship just couldn't figure out that complicated thumb shifter.
Sorry, couldn't resist buddy.
Nice stable!Installed new LED garage lighting. Not exciting, but sure makes a difference when detailing.

In the S550 you're not in full manual mode until you pull the shifter past "D" into "S" AND use a paddle to upshift or downshift at least one time. So apparently the S650 goes into full manual mode with just one click of the shift lever? Interesting. I'm surprised Ford changed that.I constantly was pulling the shifter back too far into manual mode, which is a horror if you don't realize it.
Nice, I did that a month or two back. Also red and blue Mustangs in the garage... Vapor Blue S650, Royal Crimson S550.Installed new LED garage lighting. Not exciting, but sure makes a difference when detailing.

Last week I installed the painted (locally) RTR hood vent and front splitter. These quick pictures donβt do it justice. Will post more pics after additional mods.β¦RTR Front splitter & hood vent arrive at body shop Tuesday for painting as well. This is going to look amazing!

He glosses over a couple minor things there, and you can't see his screen super well.thank you, the video seems straight forward enough.
Still, sometimes I am amazed what one can learn to do on YoutubeHe glosses over a couple minor things there, and you can't see his screen super well.
Plus there is a whole process to downloading forscan and getting the license.
That IS interesting! Now it is no longer called S and is M. And as soon as you pull back into it, you are in full manual mode. The first time I did it by accident and pulled out on to the street, and realized in horror I was winding up to 7K RPM in first gear....I knew I had to keep my thumb off the top of the shifter after shifting into D. The Billetworkz shifter really solved that problem for me.In the S550 you're not in full manual mode until you pull the shifter past "D" into "S" AND use a paddle to upshift or downshift at least one time.
