Interesting thread. While I don’t have magnaride, I can say when I test drove a few vehicles I chose the 20” tire option. I could definitely feel the difference. Those made the car feel more planted on the rode and into the curves. The stock suspension feels good. Felt like the best option since there were no magnarides available at the time. And it did awesome on the Tail of the Dragon. 😀

Isn't magnaride a compromise between street and track? As in it will never feel as good going over potholes as a real street suspension, and it will never give the lap times of a tuned track suspension.

Magnaride doesn't change your steering sir.
Anyone who believes suspension - MR or otherwise - doesn't affect steering has no idea what they are talking about. Hell, even your tire pressure affects your steering.

not quite

its sort of a middle ground in a way that it will out perform most street and track dampers for this type of suspension setup. but you'll probably get a smother ride from air suspension on the street or a better performing track suspension such as Multimatics ASV suspension (GTD, AMG One, GT MKIV)

Of course. But you and I both know that's not what he was talking about. 😉

I was only replying to the content of your post. It was not correct. 😉

Not sure how they ride without it but love it with it. Wouldn’t buy another Mustang without it.

It's non adjustable suspension that's the compromise. It's very difficult to design a suspension for optimum grip and handling as well as compliance on some of the crap roads we're having to deal with.
The variable damping set up on my last car was great. Compliant in normal mode and better suspension control in Cupra mode.
Plus I could have steering, engine, drivetrain in their most responsive mode and run suspension in normal for rough roads.

2020 F150 4x4 Limited. 2024 GT Mustang Premium. Both in Rapid Red.
Mustang lovers never learn. As least we don't have solid rear axels anymore.

I don't find the steering that bad in sport mode, but I will say the steering on my 2023 Camaro SS was better and the steering on my 2024 WRX was WAY better.

PS: Love that black roof.
I purchased a 2024 GT Mustang on March 31, 2025.
The GT didn’t have Magneride or the PP.
I was able to tighten up the Steering by adding a 3-Piece Cowl & Strut Tower Brace.
It was well worth the Money.
It really helps.

I have it and I can't notice the difference between mine and one without magneride. I maybe a stupid driver.
I test drove both and couldn't notice the difference either. Maybe we're both stupid. 🤪

Thanks!

Wow so not only is there no difference in Camber between GT base, the GT PP, and the DH, but the camber is pretty darn tame too. - 1.0 is nothing. I'm very surprised it's that way in PP cars and DH cars.
