Also I spoke with a Ford engineer I mountain bike with and has inside info that there will be no FP tune for DHark Horse. It’s tuned to max. IAT temps too high for more

Makes sense. I bet the Ford Performance tune will be the same as a stock DH then.

This is complete BS or your mountain biking buddy is an idiot. I had the DH out and it ran at ambient or +1.
TuNed to the max? What about torque management, shift points, AFR, timing, top speed limiter, cam timing? I can tell you it is a super conservative stock tune.
There are so many ways to get down the track faster besides just peak HP.

Soler and/or Pedal Commander are a placebo effect. Take you car to the track and you will see they don’t change your ET one bit.
Don’t waste your money buy a real tune or forget it.

Nobody is saying that they actually make the car faster, they’re saying that it makes the car feel faster due to making the throttle response being more aggressive. For some people, that’s enough. There are a lot of modern drive by wire cars that can feel sluggish depending on throttle tuning. Plus, an actual tuner is likely to adjust the throttle maps to make the throttle more aggressive, similar to what is happening with a pedal commander.

I don't think 26-27 degrees of timing shoved down their throat from the factory is "conservative" by any means.

So your saying get a real tune.

30* used to be my street 93 timing setting, 33* was my Shell 93 50/50 with MS109, and 36* was my straight MS109 timing on my old 3V.
So yes 26* is a joke.

You're comparing a low compression 3v on race fuel to a high compression coyote.... you're quite the special one.

I’m just sharing what I heard from a reputable source man, chill out.
Ford Performance usually doesn’t make tunes for the special models that have more HP from their department already.

Curious, do you train your German Shepard to bite people?

Although the tuners seem to be showing there is still plenty of table remaining. A performance ‘tune’ is usually a modification from stock, regardless. If little gt can pick up but the dh can’t are we implying the stronger bottom end really isn’t worth it?
