Hey everyone! Earlier this year in April I picked up a 2024 Mustang GT Premium in Shadow Black with the 10-speed. I’m still learning a lot, but I’ve already fallen in love with driving and the whole car scene.

So far I’ve had the windows tinted (50% windshield, limo tint all around) and added an MBRP X-pipe. I’m planning to get a Dark Horse-style spoiler with the Gurney flap next. Just taking things slow and building it piece by piece.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning from you all and seeing what everyone’s working on!

Damn congrats man.
When I was 15 all I could afford was an ancient Camaro with one wheel already in the grave.

I'm not going to give advice, you can learn the hard way like I did.😎
Seriously though, take it easy, learn the cars little tricks, enjoy it. You probably don't know how lucky you are.🥳
BTW Can you get a licence at 15 there?
We used to here until about 5 years ago, it's 16 for a learners now.

In the US, it is 16 as well, but he is in Florida. They kinda are their own little bassackward part of the world, so I don't know that they really check.

Of course I'm in Texas, where if you stay off the main roads, nobody cares. Especially if you live in a small town away from everybody.

But for real, I think possibly the best thing you could do is find a very large and empty parking lot in the rain and practice controlling oversteer at low speeds.

These cars are not nearly as dangerous as people make them out to be, but its still a rwd car with enough ass to make a nun blush. Just good to cross your t's and dot your i's, ya know? Accidents happen when you least expect them, I've seen plenty of people get bit.

Either way, sweet car, great to see someone young get one.

Welcome! Easy Google revealed 15 can get a Learners in FL. Wow.

You introduced yourself and posted a polite intro, so I don’t know about the snarky replies here. Yeah I’m jealous, lol, my first car was a big hunk o’crap 74 Gran Torino 4 door. But it did have a honkin’ 351 Cleveland. But it also had parts literally fall off while I drive….lol.

Congrats on an amazing first car, but 486 hp is a LOT for a new driver. I got in trouble in my youth with much crappier cars. Treat all that hp with respect! Good luck!

Nice car for 15... a bit more expensive than the car I bought at that age ($80).

Another gearhead...

So tint might look cool, but honestly when you're just getting started with driving, it's a real hinderance to being able to see properly at night, ESPECIALLY ON THE WINDSHIELD. Plus factor in you've got exactly 0 years of driving alone under your belt.

However I'm sure this is not a concern because you're in bed and asleep by 9, 11 on weekends.

Remember, pleasure is fleeting and the guilt of inflicting permanent injuries on someone lasts a lifetime, unless you're a sociopath.

Also pretty sure this is a troll post.
