It's been almost a year since I E-Signed the papers for a brand new 2024 GT Premium. 4/12/25. You can imagine 15-year-old me was freaking out. And believe me, I was!
Mustang has always been one of my favorite cars ever made, truly blessed to have one.
This is how she sits today, with 13k miles...
I already have a Dark Horse Wing, Window Tint, X-Pipe, Side Skirt Extensions, and a Front Chin Spoiler. What other car mods would you guys reocmmend for the performance, exterior, and interior?
Ok Dad jesus Christ.. I don't understand why that matters though? I'm not spitting out lies with AI I'm just using AI to make my thread replies sound better.
Sometimes I ask chatgpt to REFINE my messages and make them look better because its a forum/forum thread, not a chatroom. It looks more formal. And who doesn't use chatgpt nowadays? But it doesn't even matter your drifting off the main point of this post.
Yeah, youāre rightāitās not the craziest story ever. It was more the suddenness of how it stepped out that got me. First time Iāve ever really felt the car break loose like that.
And thatās a great point about autos. I was still flat-footed when it upshifted, and I think that comboāwheelspin +...
Haha I get itāmy writing probably sounds a little too clean for the internet. Iāve been replying with help from my dad sometimes too, since this whole thing blew up and I didnāt want to sound immature or make things worse.
But I promise Iām not a bot or a troll. Just a kid who had a close call...
Appreciate you saying that. I know the story sounds crazy, but yeahājust a kid trying to learn, make mistakes, and do better. Not here to troll anyone.
Not trolling, manāthis really happened. I get that it sounds wild, but I posted it to share what I learned, not to flex. If you donāt believe it, thatās fine. But Iām not here to argueāIām here to own up to a mistake and maybe help someone else avoid doing the same.
I hear youāand Iām not going to argue. Youāre right that it was reckless, and thereās no excuse for what couldāve happened. Iāve taken full responsibility and already reflected hard on it.
That said, my dad wasnāt encouraging me to raceāhe was sitting next to me thinking we were just testing...
Really appreciate you sharing thatāit means a lot. Youāre right, this car isnāt something you master overnight. I definitely tried to jump ahead too fast.
That ā1966 mindsetā really stuck with meājust you and the car. Iāll keep that in mind moving forward. Thanks again for the wisdom.
Thank you man, I really appreciate that š
A track day would honestly be sickāIād love to push the car in a safer environment and really learn its limits. Might take you up on that sometime š
Good pointāand I totally get where youāre coming from. In general, yeah, hitting the brakes mid-slide can upset the balance even more, especially at high speed or if itās a panic stomp.
In my case, it was a light, quick tapāmore of a reset than a slam. I wasnāt fully sideways yet, just enough...
Appreciate the clarification. I actually only tapped the TC button, so I turned off traction control, not full stability. But yeahāDrag Mode already relaxes stability a ton, so it probably didnāt intervene fast enough to help.
In hindsight, it was a combo of things: more wheelspin from TC...
Last night around 10 PM, I had the most intense driving experience of my lifeāand I felt it was worth sharing here.
I was out on a quiet road with my dad in the passenger seat. We had just installed a device in the car (Bouncie) that tracks speed, braking, and acceleration. My dad wanted to...
