Haha I get it—my writing probably sounds a little too clean for the internet. I’ve been replying with help from my dad sometimes too, since this whole thing blew up and I didn’t want to sound immature or make things worse.

Yeah, you’re right—it’s not the craziest story ever. It was more the suddenness of how it stepped out that got me. First time I’ve ever really felt the car break loose like that.

And that’s a great point about autos. I was still flat-footed when it upshifted, and I think that combo—wheelspin + sudden traction—was what kicked it sideways so hard. Definitely something I’ll be more aware of going forward.

IDK where you’re at, but that would be great for you to do. And, it’s way less expensive than losing your license, or a huge traffic ticket or tickets. You’ll learn a lot about being a better driver.

You can really learn a lot on track days. I will add that you need to be mature enough to realize that when you leave the track, you need to act like you've left the track. You need to flip that switch when you drive home.
