I wish we could just hang out one day and just switch off cars back and forth on some back roads. True test in my opinion!
Oh, the Dark horse is a whole other beast after an oil change and 1200 miles than it was new as well.
I would love it. Remember I owned a 2020 Mustang GT PP1 car. Loved it, Ford Performance Track kit, 409 gears Ford Performance Power Kit with Borla Switch fire and Ford Performance by Borla Aggressive exhaust.

I drove the M2 as I was searching for a Nürburgring Tool.
And yes it is exactly that.

Have to mention that the M2 has the basis of the M3. Since the 2 series is a front wheel drive basis, the M2 is more an 3 series than a 2 Series.
The BMW M GmbH did a really great job on that.

But it has much less emotional in daily driving and cruising around than the Mustang.

My experience on the Race Track is, that the M2 is not only way better in corners than my pony. Also the acceleration of the M2 is painful better.
But I kick their ass with my V8 sound. The audience at the race track love to see and hear me driving by because of that.

Exactly, I think it’s called… personality?

My car had the FP Track Kit with 19x10 and 19x11 wheels and 285/305 Michelins, she was no slouch in handling. The stock PP car was shit.

Race the M2 is based on the 2 series coupe which is rwd, it's the 2 series sedan based off of a FWD platform. There is no 2 series coupe fwd.

Ah thanks for that clarification.
I wondered about it.

I just bought helmets to have a ride toppless on the Race Track.

Just to beat these softy M2 drivers with sound and style. šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜

I initially planned to purchase an M3 before going with my Mustang as I love the way they look, despite all the hate among reviewers for the massive ā€œnostrilsā€. I just could not bring myself to pay the $110,000 for the way I wanted it configured. I then thought about the M2, but I don’t like the look. Finally, I went for the S650, and have been loving it for almost two years now. I don’t care if the M2 is faster, is better stock on the track, has a better interior, etc (some of that opinion, some fact), I wouldn’t take it over my S650.

I enjoy reading professional, and not so professional reviews, on cars, comparing specs, performance, features, etc. I have come to the conclusion that while all that information is beneficial in understanding what you are getting, every person has different preferences on opinions, so don’t make decisions based on other’s reviews. Other than terrible reliability, I don’t let reviews have much of an influence on my decision. Go experience the vehicles for yourself and try to forget when everyone else says about them. One person loves the M2, and another the Mustang; decide for yourself which one you are, and don’t apologize for it. Likewise, don’t assume your decision is right and others’ is wrong; enjoy what you buy and be thankful others liked something else so we can all enjoy the seeing the diversity of vehicles.
