if you go into the easy mode IPC editor, just search for "frost telltale"

Is there a way to see what might be available in the Easy Mode without connecting to the car ? I had a friend add Gear Disp to Tach, but trying to decide to use Forscan for more.

Would anyone know if using forscan stops incoming OTA updates? I’ve been like a solid 2 months without an update. Not sure if it’s coincidence.

It will not.

Well, unless you make an inarticulate update and brick the car. That would take some serious carelessness but I imagine it’s possible. But I checked and identified an OTA update AFTER my FORSCAN adventures.

it does not stop OTA updates, but i can say from having things changed on mine for over a year, the OTA update respect the current settings. there is an off chance that, like smurfslayer said, an update could cause issues, but it is incredibly unlikely, as im sure if Ford removed a function they would have some system to shuffle everything forward if needed, and likewise for if something was added that they needed more space for

Yes, that's why I was asking, just a simple answer: enable or disable, and no spread sheet with multiple codes.
then yes, its in there. and yes, it is a simple on or off setting. however, some things in the easy menu have multiple options that are like "range 1", "range 2", "range 3", "range 4" such as the tachometer

Alright then, probably just coincidence

Have you tried?
the Mach-E EQ just messed with what speakers the sound was coming out of. i decided to take a look at the software of the DSP and found that my Mustang uses PC3T-14C589-AD, where a Mach-E GT at work uses RJ8T-14C589-AB, and a 2025 Mustang at work uses PC3T-14C589-DC

Have you by chance had any issues with Forscan and warranty repairs at the dealer? I assume it’s no issue but I would hate if they denied me coverage for something silly.

I’m going to enable the shift indicator in a few minutes as well. Frost telltale isn’t probably very useful for me so I won’t bother.
