Recall 24S36 - Leaking Hydraulic Clutch Pressure Line

Finally got to a computer to get a better look at the pics.
If I'm reading this correctly, even if I get a "Pass" with the tube attached to the stud with a plastic Zip retainer, there is still more work to be done beginning with step 2. Am I correct?
Update: No, I am incorrect. If I get a "Pass", I'm done. @RiksDH was only showing what needed to be done in the case of a "Fail".

Not attached is instant fail

Mine was all good. DH built around 7/25/23. Plenty of room between header and line. I'm going to just try to send pics and see what happens. Took 15 seconds to look and see if it was loose.

This item is not metal to metal screw connect. What does "SOLID" mean?? How much hand pressure did they apply? I am sure with enough force you can pull that plastic of the stud. I am thinking that maybe some dealers may want to pull it off just to keep the car for the day and make the full repair to get more money from Ford for the work?

“Solid” as in Not dislodged from the stud. @Pyroguy explains it exactly

Just curious did the s550 have this issue? What was done on those model years? I know the s650 had several suspension tweaks and improvements which I think were great. Perhaps this plastic clip pressed on a threaded stud is good enough but I would hope some aftermarket improvement could make things much better.

Curious as to your feedback regarding clutch feel post remedy.

According to the ole' dashcam the tech only had it on the lift for about 30 min (the cam only records when the car is on and for about 2 min after shutoff so I didn't see what he did under the hood/where he worked). As I know mine was a fail (wasn't on the post at all and I left it that way) I don't know if that was long enough to do a whole clutch line replacement and bleed. Either way they said it was good and afterwards it's on the post. I did a longer visual inspection to look for any discoloration on the shielding and couldn't see any so calling it good for now (but the fire extinguisher's going to ride trunk for a few more months, lol). As far as I can tell there's no difference in clutch feel/contact patch/engagement zone after the service.

Description
On your vehicle, the hydraulic clutch pressure line may not be properly retained to a locating stud on the dash panel. A line with improper retention may contact hot exhaust components and melt, leaking hydraulic fluid.

Safety Risk
A leaking clutch pressure line will not impact the volume of brake fluid in the brake system, so you will not observe an impact to brake function. However, this condition can impact the brake fluid supply in the clutch and can result in an inability to change gears. If leaked hydraulic fluid accumulates near a sufficiently hot surface, you may observe smoke and experience an under-hood fire. An under-hood fire increases the risk of injury.

Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect the clutch line free of charge. The clutch line will be located properly and in most cases that will close the recall. However, in the case the clutch line on your vehicle must be replaced, your dealer will replace the clutch line with parts available. If parts are not available andor backordered, you will be offered a rental until parts are available.

Aftermarket kits are available, using better physical lines and connectors.

Imo: ^ different - only nomenclature the same. The prior was with a connection the current is with the excess. Poping disconnect on line (prior) vs floppy line not secured in place (current) but you’d have thunk they’d have reaffirmed the verification of the line since it was ….. (But and however - glad it’s being addressed now as opposed to later - big thanks to mr. not-Blue ember’s sacrifice).

I just got back from the dealer.
They wanted me to drop my car off, but I said I couldn't and would have to make another appointment if I did. He checked and said it would be an hour or two, so I said I would wait.
20 minutes later the car was checked out and done, no problems.
The guy told me the recall may be a problem with only about 1% of the cars.

If you mean reattached to the firewall stud, they would pull on it and if if didn't come loose you are done.

What if ‘wire tied’ to the stud not using the plastic retainer?

As in consumer notice and secure from further movement but necessarily reattach the not attached connection.
