Hey gang. This is what I see. Does this look right? Do I even need to bother bringing the car in? Or wait till my next oil change in December? Thanks!!

If I were you I would push it on the stud now. Just check to see that the line hasn't made contact with the exhaust manifold which would require replacement of the line.
I'm of two minds on that...

Mind 1: The tech that sees it off the post may be more inclined to do more inspection down the line if they see that I'm in the "affected" group vs just a "thumbs up". Good news is the dealership is like 8 mi away from me so it won't be cherry red by then (and it's been plenty warm enough before now to cause issues, so I'm just lucky at this point too).

Mind 2: On the other hand I also know it's an easy "fix" and I know I'm now in an "At Risk" group...

If my appointment wasn't first thing tomorrow without me having to drive till then I'd fix it immediately. (Edit: Oh and... the fire extinguisher's going along for that ride too... if the clutch gives the entire area's getting doused, lol)

Mine was attatched on firewall but off on what looks like a wiring harness about a foot prior to that towards front.
Clutch cable is on header side of that clip

Thanks for sharing - Foot prior more towards the front has no exhaust tubes running there. Did you mean closer to the brake fluid reservoir?

Just checked and I have it as well. Guess I’ll get it taken in sometime in the next 2 weeks

I checked this morning on my Dark Horse and mine was not installed correctly. Over the years owning Fords I have found many wiring harness supports and hose supports that were not installed at the factory. Mine was clear of the header so it should be all good now. I will email my service guy and send the pics and get the recall completed.

I agree with his down the line Point.
This is my index finger between that very line and my Long Tube Kooks Headers. 3/4 of an inch cleaance.. 🤷‍♂️

I just wish the clip would slide all the way onto the threaded stud.

If the 24S36 Ford recall was just on these two clips it would be an easy fix without the need of one day time at the dealer. Could we get the FOMCO folks on this forum chime-in and let us know if we have the right pictures for the line issue?

Thought there was only the firewall stud clip in question?

Thanks for all the inputs - mine looks good from the get go.
There is more than an index finger clearance for me from the headers, zero wiggle/play in each of the studs too.
wonder if I email my dealership - they will clear the Recall for me- not too sure.

ps - I really do not want to leave my car for one full day and/or even driven/seated by some random dude and seats farted on. 😂(rice and beans are very popular here in Cali)
