Once you pop out the damper just press in the two tabs on each side and then l let it drop all the way down and you can remove it.

Push up on the swivel point and it will come right out.

I program button 3 on the seat memory with the mirror angle down. It works great when you pull up to a parking spot just hit the button and back up. Once parked just hit button one and you are good to go.
