I never got a confirmation e-mail. Ford dealer where I ordered from, said first thing we will get is a vin number, which I still have not received

Some dealers will put their email the system to get the updates instead of yours. Shitty I know. I’d ask them if your set up to receive email updates on the order from ford.

i messaged the sales guy yesterday and told him I never got an email from ford, and was wondering if they had my email address right? He was to check on it this morning and let me know I have yet to hear anything.

Good luck with that! No one on here is getting accurate updates. Feel free to explore some of the BS that’s been going on Ford has been hyping this car up since last September, now they just continue to move the goal post.

i think what makes this wait easy for me is the fact that i have so many things going on for the next few months.
im waiting on my 2010 to get its repairs complete for trade when the 24 comes.
im waiting for a load of videogames i want to play this fall.
im waiting on a pay raise coming close to the end of this year.
im waiting for a big race in a sim i play a lot.
im waiting on parts to go on order for my 24' when it comes
and im also waiting for a '24 mustang to show up.
so in the grand scheme of things the 24 mustang is just one of many things i have to look forward too and in the mean time, i have a lot of other things to draw my attention.
i have a lot of videogames to play.
i have a sim race to practice for.
i have a budget to plan out for parts and other stuff
i have a 2010 mustang to drive when im bored.

I’m not in need of it either. I have an 18 GT Premium PP and a 20 GT Premium PP convertible. I just don’t understand why Ford isn’t more forthcoming about what’s going on.

ordered a 2024 GT Premium Coupe on May 2nd 2023 I heard from Ford and have received a VIN and my vehicle was built at Flatrock on July 20th, 2023. I cannot get any more info from that vehicle order tracking system. I called Ford 4 times and got 4 different answers. My car order was included with my dealer's stock order. Ford said, late July, early August, mid August and now 2nd week of September. Their website is a joke. I have ordered in the past a 2015, 2018, 2020, and now the 2024. All I want is a straight answer.

I ordered mine June 7th. never Even received a vin # yet, Of course I guess it didn’t help that the dealership I went through had the order number down wrong. Just got it straightened out last Monday( At least they changed the priority from 19 to 10) although, that’s not helping
Anyway, I did ford chat again yesterday. All he said was order processed. That really tells me alot
I asked him why there were so many delays and he said there are no delays. I said well it seems really funny that a lot of people I talk to you to have ordered have their cars done and they’re sitting at a ramp. And he said again there are no delays. He’s full of crap, considering a lot of them were supposed of had their cars a month ago. They are all lying. If they have a problem, they need to come out and tell everybody we have this problem and we’re trying to get it fixed before we send any of these cars out, and I think people will be much happier knowing the truth, I would anyway. I would at least be a lot more patient if I had some idea when I would be getting it. If it’s gonna be another year, I’m going to just get one off a lot when they come in.

I’m looking at ESS G3 systems for my 18, save 50k and have a lot more fun. I didn’t need a new car, I thought I wanted one but there’s nothing wrong with the S550’s I already have. My deadline on waiting is 10/1.
