because you cant delay a day that was never given, ETAs are subjective info that 9 times out of 10 exist only to get someone on the other end to shut the hell up about it.

So if you order some clothes from GAP or Eddie Bauer online and they give you a shipping timeframe of 3-7 days and it’s been 2 months I guess you can’t complain because you were never given an actual specific date.

youre comparing apples to oranges here, GAP and EB sell DIRECTLY to you, the customer. lets compare it this way:

you buy a new pair of jeans off of Amazon.com, AMAZON is telling you they will be there on the 15th, its now the 20th, do you complain to the person selling the jeans or too amazon? if you complain to the jeans seller theyll just say "we gave it to amazon, they should have it out to you soon"

Ford doesnt give two shits about your complaints because you are not the one they are delivering too, the dealerships are, and ford is being transparent with these dealerships allowing to see the production status of their allotments. these BS ETAs you all are complaining about is given to you to get you to shut up and leave them alone.

Jim Owens said early summer it is now passed early summer, that was the original window so therefore delayed

cars are built just sitting for no reason that we know of if they weren’t building cars or having issues building cars it would be a different story

You have some serious problems, I am surprised someone hasn’t kicked your ass yet. And how old are you? My guess is with you attitude, you are in your 20’s or 30’s.
I don’t have to do any better than that, you asked a question about QC and I gave those to you. And when I get an estimated time of arrival, it might be a couple days off, but not a few weeks! Now go find someone else to be an ass with. If my sons were this ignorant, they would be on crutches!

So again, letting 1000s of cars sit on a lot just because is ? No, there isn’t an actual “date of release” and most people here complaining aren’t complaining about a few weeks give or take, some are complaining about ETAs that are 2-3 months off.

Again, the media press released just happened! Cars were NOT going to be delivered before that. Manufacturers build lots of cars and have them sit on lots before...this is not new.
Do you think the lots at Ford are always empty. Do you think the train yards are always empty.

I didn't address the QC concerns because you did, buy stating Ford said there were QC issues. Yes they shut down production and restarted it.

I have seen this and didn't put too much into it because it was not official to be technical. There was never anything on Ford's Website stating that.
But like I said go complain to Ford if you think they are just holding the car in spit of you.

Yea I understand that no manufacturers as far as I know put out an actual release date for their cars but I am just wondering why are the cars being held I just want to know what’s going on
