I definitely will order a DH unless they want >70K then I'll just buy a GT500.

Can't decide if I want a manual or 10 speed. I have a GT350 that's my manual gear rower but I miss remote start that remote Rev would be cool. I keep going back and forth....thoughts?

Tremec or nada. If a dark horse handling pack is over 70K then I’ll grab a M1 handling pack for low 50s or a 2020 GT350 for low 60s.

I wonder if they make a kit where you could remote start the 350? They’d have to override the clutch engage requirement but I feel like I remember someone doing it?

I'm going boring GT, if the getag wasn't made in China I would consider it. Going auto because I gotta have that remote rev!!!! Just kidding, really because the getag is China and bad ratios. Really wish they offered the tremic for a up charge.

im going auto for sure
the 10R80 was great in my M1, plus that remote start is a godsend when getting ready to go home in the summer
that and traffic can be pretty bad

10A, but was really hoping they'd just do an 8 speed dual clutch.

Waiting for the right model to come equipped with a Tremec. Or if I ever get an extensive test drive with the supposedly “improved” MT82, decide if the galaxy-sized ratios and shift action is tolerable enough to plunge for.

Totally get why someone would go 10AT but it would never cross my shopping list if that was the only choice.

7 speeds is the golden amount imo. 8 is doable. But if all you want is straight line performance without compromise there’s nothing better than jam packed gearing and a peaky engine that stays in its power band the whole way through.

Im going to order an Auto and install a Whipple. I had a 2010 GT 5-speed with a Procharger that was fun but the 2016 GT Auto I had was easier on my knees and I liked the Sport Mode.

Im torn.
I wont own that 82.
I loved the A10 in my Camaro and my 2022 GM work truck.
But my current 2023 FORD work truck has the A10 in it and I hate it.
It all comes down to the tuning. Ive heard the M1 is great w/the A10, so I guess I need to drive one myself.

I didn't think there was that much of a difference....now I have to find a M1 to drive...damn it

Im going to speculate that my F150 just has a lazier shift program compared to the cars. Which would stand to reason. But man… it pisses me off. Lol Its so… unresponsive. Doesnt ever want to adequately downshift. Super conservative.

i can personally tell you, there is definitely a difference between the GT and M1 10R80, not only in the programming, but i think i remember reading somewhere that it had a unique torque converter too
