You can work a deal better than these plans. There are several dealers around the country that severely discount the cars if you have a trade in.
I'm not sure if you can beat A/Z plan (3% UNDER invoice) and include all applicable invoice. X-Plan is great if you don't like to negotiate but it's over invoice.

My dealer said he could beat the xplan by $3K without the Ford rebates which is another $2500. So he used the Xplan to help me with the doc fee. When it was all done I had $7800 off msrp + the doc fee of $100. Which saved me another $499. He had to raise my trade in by $3K to use the Xplan numbers. Either way the difference between the new car and my trade were the same. Cool dealer that I use all the time. He even ordered a Shelby GT 350 @ MSRP when they first came out in 2015.

I thinks koons base price is cheaper than z plan but when you add in their 900 destination charge and 500 doc fee, it adds up to just a little more.

Got any more details on that? It'd be great to know for when I order my 2020/1 if the new model does end up coming out then. If it means saving an extra $1000, I'd make the road trip to Atlanta and visit family on the way back down.

Anyone know where I can find a/z plan pricing for 18 gt, base auto?
Sure, just log into the myfordbenefits website and pull up A-plan pricing since you work for Ford corporate. That's what I did when I ordered mine

I was hoping x plan was cheaper than Costco (invoice minus $400). Sounds like there is a cap on dealer fees u get x plan.

Nope, X-Plan is about $75-$125 over invoice depending on how expensive the car is optioned. It's invoice less 0.4% + $275. Dealer fees are limited to $100 with X-Plan. In KC, there are no dealer fees with Costco which is invoice less $500. The only variable is whether they charge any dealer fees on top of your Costco deal.

Thanks! Maybe we should have a Costco price sticky. LoL

You know, I don't think very many people are aware of this program. I used it as a base for my negotiating. A lot of people talk about X-Plan, but it's a fair price at best. I already had a Costco membership, but they can be had for $120. They also have a discount program on parts through the Ford dealer as well as pretty decent prices on tires and they throw in 5 year road hazard on the tires as well.

I appreciate this MCA and the individual(s) responsible for making this happen for us. Any dollar or thousands of dollars saved is worth it. Eight days till I'm in my 2018 GT PPL1.

So... I just want to confirm what the original post says. You can buy a MCA membership and be automatically eligible for X plan? Is Costco's membership and auto purchase program better than the X plan?

You can also buy Ford stock and do the same thing.
There is a waiting period on the Ford stock X-Plan. I think it's a few months. And it's only good for whoever is listed on the account.

The cheapest way to get a Mustang is to work for Ford (or have a close relative that does or is retired) that can get you A/Z plan. Or work for a dealer to get D plan which is a little more expensive.
