What's the additional $750 for?
I believe he is talking about the EAA rebate that was discussed earlier in this thread. It is a group you can join and get a rebate for, which apparently works on top of X-plan and should work on top of any retail rebates (if they ever offer any for 2015 Mustang). When I get closer to ordering my car I will definitely look into joining EAA :ford:

So I signed up for the MCA back on Oct 3rd, got my pin and figured I'd be good to go. I contacted them via email 10 days ago when I hadn't received a membership card and she said the packet was sent on the 7th, and she would resend it. Here we are almost month later and I still haven't received my membership packet, emails to MCA go unanswered, the phone goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail box is full.

Has anyone else had issues getting a membership card/packet from MCA?

I don't think it's a scam at all, I just want to be sure to get the needed paperwork/membership id before my car gets here a couple weeks.

It took awhile for me to get my cards for both MCA and EAA.

I was actually a little worried about the EAA card since I was using the extra $750 rebate for EAA members. My dealer never even asked me for the card. They took the printout of the PIN and the rebate for face value.

Now, this doesn't mean that always is the case, this may have just been a fluke or my incredibly good looks at work. :D

X-PLAN PURCHASE

Thanx guys for sharing the info on the x-plan. I joined MCA as instructed and got my pin# soon after my membership package arrived in the mail. The dealer was asking $5000 over MSRP for the car they had in inventory and I got mine for $2500 under. (Well ordered anyway). Now waiting for vin # and build date. I'm happy with that deal!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear it worked out for you. One of the biggest benefits of this forum for me has been learning about X-Plan. I am sure I saved thousands. And I know my order is better for all the discussions, back and forth, and information gleaned from other members.

Fortunately for me, I have X-Plan from work, so I knew about it before I went looking. We actually have partner programs for a good number of MFGs where I work.

I think it's pretty cool a place like EAA or MCA make it easy for the masses to get a decent price on a new car without having to haggle to get it. Sure, you could get a better deal if you want to work for it, but X-Plan makes it pretty simple for people that don't want to hassle with it (like me).

Lucky you..my work only gets me Supplier Side pricing on GM stuff  Their pricing isn't even that good either, something like $800 under MSRP, not even close to invoice

For GM supplier is model to model specific and some models are not honored under Supplier price. Supplier on a Chevy SS (Holden car) was like barely $1k off MSRP. On the 1LE I was looking at it was $2500 off. You can look them up and build the cars to see the Supplier and Employee pricing on the GM Family First webpage if you're curious.

Well, when I ordered my car a few weeks ago, the plan pricing was not yet available in the ordering system.
Yes, it was. Has been for months. Many of us have printouts reflecting X-Plan pricing. My invoice shows X-Plan. Your dealer is telling you stories.

Since the day the order banks opened All pricing was in place. I keep hearing how everyone ordered these cars but then I see the printouts at retail. Not my business but My dealer was able to do mine with all the price breakdowns A-Z. I do believe lots of people are telling stories. Dealers living in the past thinking that they are protecting themselves by not giving out invoice prices
