When I had my '24 Mustang GT it was usually Chargers with the 5.7 HEMI or the 6.4 HEMI. Hellcats always left me alone probably because a GT isn't much work for a Hellcat. Riced out Honda Civics were also pretty bad offenders.

With the Hellcat I have now most cars leave me alone. It gets way more attention than the Mustang, but more so just staring and ooh's and ahh's. The only cars that really try to do anything are 5.7L and Scat Pack Chargers/Challengers because those just seem to attract the most hoonigans. Sometimes I'll get something unique coming up to goof around like a nice AMG Mercedes or a GT-R.

The Hellcat will obliterate 99.5% of cars so I mostly just ignore people if they try to mess with me in it.

Doesn't matter what car you have, though. Nissan Altimas will race you in any car, any time, anywhere.
No one is ohhing and awing at a Hellcat where I am at....more common then Camrys around here......not to mention they dont look any different then the base model ......unless you have the widebody- but even then - tons of those around here too (not to mention the 1000s of 392 widebodys around here)

Unless you are doing a 60 or 70 roll stock Hellcats are slow on the streets- no traction.....hell on a 10 roll I can stay at my buddys front fender to 70-75 - and thats with my slow a$$ 350R

But the Southern CA / Scottsdale car scene is a little different then most....

It's cruel to beat Harleys with a car. I gapped one with my MX5. Mind you, it was supercharged.
He was seriously pissed off. Fist waving, bird flipping etc.
I always thought motorcycles could beat a car until I went up against an early 80s Z28 on a freeway roll. That car just took off. I could smoke them all day in town on my old Harley.

Well, yes. Tesla’s with the ludicrous will blow away a gt500 all day long.
The Harley is 105hp and 130lbs of torque at 811lbs. Much more equal if you do the math. Also both gas engines.
You could get s much lighter Harley that can seriously move . FXD series are light and quick.

I had a tuned Night Train Softtail back in the day and off the line with a fat back tire. I would smoke my buddies 2-door v caddy. But by 3rd gear I was eating his rubber, literally.
By the time I sold that Harley it was spewing oil out the top of the heads..
maybe I shouldn’t of road it like my Ducati before.. lol

Mine too. The head gasket wasn't blown. It was the valve cover to head gasket. 1993 FXDL. I gave it to my daughter along with S&S oil pump, block and 93 inch kit. She had it rebuilt and it runs great. Was my best bike. Good year for Harley. Earlier ones weren't as good. Hardly any problems.

A CV carb that had a fourth fuel circuit. I'd get to 125 mph and it would seem to go faster. Andrews EV35 split duration/lift cam, Screaming Eagle heads, and Thunder headers straight from the main dealer. Corbin gunfighter seat. Bike sat high like a Highway Patrol FXRP. Could see over traffic. Would climb hills like a rocket.

My bike was like Christine. Crashed once, and I thought it was a mess. A week later I went to have z look and the forks went back to straight. All I had to do is kick the front tire a few times, and it tracked straight. Changed K&N bars, new exhaust, and tank , fender, and rear fender, plus rear foot mount, and was back on the road no problem . Even caught on fire one. Had to put a new starter, battery, cables and horn. It ran like a champ. Was like a Phoenix reborn out the fires.

Very cool and can't wait to meet everyone, I also roped a buddy in so we'll have a good group. She usually makes it and loves taking the car out on the parade laps but Thursday's are her long surgery days and I can never pull her away from those...but I'll still try.
The track is about the only place the Camaro is still good! :)
Nice! Looking forward to it as well. My wife is a night charge at our local hospital, so at least they’ll have work to talk about. 😂😂. See ya next month man!

I worked at a Harley dealership 2004 to 2007, I rode nearly all the twin cam models. No offence to the Harleyistas on here but I didn't really like them. No performance compared to the Jap and Euro bikes I rode, which is to be expected. And the cornering clearance was a worry.
But I took an Ultra for a weekend away and that was a comfy thing, not best suited for our roads, but would be great on interstates.
It actually toppled over while U turning on a very narrow street, I wondered how we'd lift the hefferlump, but my wife turned out to be much stronger than she looked 😅

I do agree Hellcats struggle from digs. If it's warm enough though they hook fine from 40mph or more if they have decent tires. And that's neat you can keep up to 70, but what happens after 70 mph? 70 mph is barely moving the needle for a Hellcat lol.

Past 70 I bet the Hellcat blows the doors off the GT350R considering it's way faster at the top end. GT350R top speed is 173mph, and just a non-Redeye Challenger Hellcat's top speed is 200mph. Massive difference.
