Just received my race ramps today and I was planing to install some parts and do inspection under the car, but one of the ramps has some dents.
Is this safe to use ? Other than that I don't see any other visible defects Anyone has any experience ? I have a trip coming up soon and can't wait for the company to ship another one...Here are the photos.

This is where the wheel will "hit and stop". It seems that part of the edge has been "smooshed". The weight off the wheel wont be directly above that point.

and this is underneath the ramp. Its a little bit "wobbly" (based on my OCD standards LOL) but I believe it will set once the car steps in.

you are trusting those things with your life. i would definitely get in contact with the company and see what they say. having to be sent a new set of ramps is a small setback, but being squished beneath a low car is a much larger, and potentially life ending, setback

Because of potential liability and fear of feeling terribly guilty, I'd never suggest that those will be just fine. I've seen cars fall off of jacks - or the jack collapse - so I've always been extra paranoid and safe when it comes to working under cars. Which is why I never, never, NEVER use jacks, stands or tools made China. American made is no guarantee, of course, but it makes me feel better. Nice to see that those are made here.

How about drive up on the ramps and then put jack stands under the car before you crawl down there? Belt and suspenders.

Based on what I've seen of the construction of my own Race Ramps, I wouldn't have any issues putting my car on those and then crawling underneath it.

From Race Ramps website:
" These ramps are manufactured using an exclusive, patented process. They are constructed of 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight ramp solution that is strong, yet durable."

And because they are foam, depending on how they are stored, of if they are misused, it's entirely possible that some deformations could occur. Based on the photos above, those deformations do not look like they are going to be anything that would affect the integrity of the ramps.

That said, seeing as how my opinion here is that of the minority, I'll simply quote the Human Torch. "Flame On!" 🔥

Always use extra backup safety. Never depend on one thing to keep your car wheels off the ground. Try to use USA manufactures if available.

I used RACE RAMPS multiple times on my Mustang prior to getting a QUICK-JACK. My RACE RAMPS had a few "smooshed" areas too. The smooshed areas are a by product of the material used, which is somewhat pliable.

Be sure to center the wheels/tires across the width of each ramp, Make sure the ramps are aligned left to right. i.e.; both wheels touch the ramps at the same time driving up. Be sure both ramps are parallel to each other (and the vehicle) With any drive up ramp it is much easier and safer to have a second person to be a "spotter".

Follow the above steps and you'll be fine.

I have used drive on ramps for decades ...In addition to the directions above, don't use them on any surface that can compress - dirt, grass, gravel - and only use on a level surface

I always used my set of Rhino Ramps. They are this heavy fiberglass compound or something. They are heavy and have a dense support grid underneath. I had checked out getting new ones, they cheaped out with plastic crap ramps, that people reviewing showed them collapsing under the weight of the car.

I ended up getting a new set of Eastwood ramps, which have low bumper access and once the car is on it, the ramp part is removable. Never used them.....lol. By then I stopped changing my own oil.

I use Race Ramps. Used them for the previous 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, and now the DH.

Those "wrinkles" and divots are just in the coating around the foam that actually provides the support. I wouldn't hesitate to use them myself.

However, as previously stated, Race Ramps customer service is pretty top notch usually. If you have questions or hesitations, give them a call.
