DTE is based on the number of gallons remaining and the average MPG, and if the result is a decimal than 1, it is always truncated. It's possible if your average MPG was 0 because you hadn't moved since resetting it that a DTE of 0 would have been mathematically correct in this scenario.I managed to duplicate this failure a few weeks back. I couldn't remember the name of the thread or I would have posted sooner. I had about a quarter of a tank of fuel and I reset the trip meter. Next thing I knew I had zero miles of range left but a quarter of a tank of fuel. New rule, always reset the trip meter on a full tank of gas.
