0mi to empty, but tank with gas

I managed to duplicate this failure a few weeks back. I couldn't remember the name of the thread or I would have posted sooner. I had about a quarter of a tank of fuel and I reset the trip meter. Next thing I knew I had zero miles of range left but a quarter of a tank of fuel. New rule, always reset the trip meter on a full tank of gas.

DTE is based on the number of gallons remaining and the average MPG, and if the result is a decimal than 1, it is always truncated. It's possible if your average MPG was 0 because you hadn't moved since resetting it that a DTE of 0 would have been mathematically correct in this scenario.

Same, 250 miles per tank 16 mpg, but probably heading south as just passed the 1K mile mark so foot getting heavier.

Using my GT as a daily driver, it kills the mpg! Where i live, you can't do a block or 2 without a Stop sign, or a light. Usually 13mpg...
on the highway, with cruise control on, its a different story. Much better mileage....

well, i did a small trip last weekend, around 100miles, mostly highway, and i got 25mpg on average! On high gear and around 60 or 70mph this GT has good mpg...on the city...not so much! But I knew that when i got it...i went to the dealer to change my 2020 EcoBoost for a 2024 EcoBoost....but the "evil" dealer let me test a GT.....and there was not turning back!

The gas is an analog device and has more than two positions.
Old story. It seems that the head of Ferrari had a problem with his wife getting speeding tickets. It seems that she thought the gas had only two positions, all the way down or all the way up. After some though, he came up with a solution. He replaced his wife's Ferrari with now what we would refer to as an original VW bug. She was happy because she had something to drive had he was happy because the number of speeding tickets when down.

I get 19.2 MPG in my GT. I was at just about 19.8 MPG but then I hit the 1,000 mile break in so I've been having some more fun lately.

Remember folks, depending on your transmission (auto vs manual) and rear axle ratios (3.15 vs 3.55 vs 3.73) will also affect your gas mileage, maybe not as much as your right foot, but for sure plays a role in your MPG. For me, 6-speed manual, 3.73 gears, in 6th gear at 60 MPH, I think I get between 22-24 MPG
