I don't know if I titled this thread correctly, but here's my situation:
I was at a stop light and was bumped a couple times from behind by a dump truck. I have a 2019 GT. The damage seemed minor, but when I went
to get gas later that day, the pump cut off after about 10 gallons (should have been about 13-14 gallons). I tried to add more gas and it cut off again and gas backed up out of my tank. When I started my car, the miles to empty was 290 when it should be about 390-400.
I haven't yet sorted out insurance, so a mechanic hasn't looked at anything, but does anyone here know if those bumps by the truck would affect my gas tank and sensors like that?
