I've been waving at other Mustangs since I bought my first ever this time last year, and I've only ever had one other driver wave back, and he was a teenager. Maybe I'm not cool enough yet. My previous ride was a Type R, and every other driver waved back, it was the law. Admittedly a much rarer car.

In the Palm Springs Coachella valley it's Teslas that want to race and 19 year olds who drive souped up 20 year old Hondas.

Everyone at the road courses I go to is trying to race me and I love it! Nothing like putting a gap on a car with 200 more HP that costs twice as much or more, that feeling can't be replicated on the street so I don't even bother trying.
See you at Daytona June 19, maybe?

Well, even at those number I didn’t dump the clutch and he took off way faster than me so me blowing his doors off makes me happy.
Doors? That's pretty funny.

Sadly; with a single exception (a Gen Zer with a 2012 mildly and well done modded GT) that's been my experience around here as well. Honk, and/or wave.......................nothin' back. I've actually gotten a couple of scowls back like I'd flipped them off or something. 🤷‍♀️

I'm thinking about it this year as I missed my normal March Daytona dates because of a wedding. Haven't run with TNIA in several years though as I got used to the 6 x 30 min sessions per day and going back to 3 x 25 min sessions always leaves me wanting more! I saw they have morning and afternoon sessions on the 19th this year so I may have to check that out.

Been doing a lot of Sebring lately with a new group called TDX but always have a good time at Daytona too. I'll look you up if I can make it happen. You going morning, afternoon, or both?

Edit: I just signed up for the morning session in the advanced group so see you there I hope! I couldn't resist so when the wife asks I'm totally blaming it on you :)

Nopars for the most part here in Houston and the surrounding areas. Already had to CRUSH one Scatpack owners dreams with an A$$ whooping. From that point on I don't engage any more because the "Risk" is not worth the "Reward", and not to mention that it's very unsafe on most Public Roadways. I give them a Thumbsup and carry on. It's hard to resist but I think that I do well for not entertaining.

The R/T's Challengers and Chargers leave me alone....Scat Packs always trying to flex, and always get sent to Gapplebees. Don't they know their cars are too heavy?
Yep. Worst offenders. I laugh them off when they come up to my Hellcat trying to flex. I have almost 300hp more than they do and my car is only about 200lb heavier. Would be a very effortless steamroll.

Here, they either wave, rev up as the pass and wave or flash their lights as they approach from the opposite direction. Cool to see that from the Mustang Community much how Corvette owners acknowledge each other.

Awesome! I’m also signed up for morning session along with a couple of my buddies. Look forward to meeting you there. Bring your wife too , ours will be there so she’ll have some girls to hang out with. And I’ll happily accept the blame. 😁
I’ve watched those Camaro’s run at Daytona last year and man they’re good on track!

I've actually had a decent amount of success. One woman I waved at while passing decided to follow me until she could get next to me to roll down her window (it was tinted) to wave back. I've noticed the Mach-E drivers either are oblivious to other Mustangs or don't wave back.

Don't get the wave started with Mustang drivers. It was bad enough with people on their Harley's waving as they passed me by.
