Use something like this jacking pad. They make them for both floor jacks and jack stands. And they last for a long time without wear.

I thought I read about some people using a 2X4 under the rocker panel to jack up each side of the car instead of installing jacking rails, but I can't find the posts. Would this work with a convertible? I've done this with other cars as I have a nice oak 2X4 that is very solid.
I got jacking rails for my vert but not for actually jacking, rather for suspension/chassis improvement. I actually installed the sides of an LED underglow kit right on top of the jacking rails, and here are some images of the most recent actual jacking points.

Steeda seemed to accidentally pinch my LED strips when they jacked up the car last time which is why I had to re-order and re-install 2 more side LED strips.

Why not just buy a set of jack pads?

You do need to make sure that they fit into the slots in your side skirts as you don't want to damage those.

I have a 2024 DH non handling pack and the area along those seam welds is pretty narrow.

This is what I bought/use.

Cool! Does it have those blue, electric, wavy sparks flying off the two metal pads, like the picture?

Hahahaha no mine didn't, if it did that would be awesome.

Those are rare earth magnets. It holds well.
