The tread life was at less than 10%. They were practically bald.

That's wild. I got a solid 14k out of mine and driving like a dickhead. Did the tire dudes say what's wrong? Uneven wear?

Well as with every damn thing it all comes down to money I’m pretty confident Ford got a better deal from the Italians as I have Pirellis on my 22 ST … as I just spec’ed my order today with the Dealer (order will release the 27th) I will have to swallow these on delivery prolly change them right out to the Conti’s I have on my Mach 1 now. I’m not a fan of tires that blister your paint with Fin holes 🙄🙄🙄

The P Zero Elect my Mustang Mach-E GT Performance lasted 7K took them down to 2/32.. They did stick Great but the Toyo Sports I put on it have a 25K warranty and drive almost the same better turn in but not as good under acceleration much more wheel spin.

This right here. They are greasy tires when they are warm. Over hyped oil slick tires.
I bet your Pirellis were all-season tires and not summer tires. Normally Pirelli Pzeros

I am on my 4th set of Pirelli P Zeros for my Mustang in 15 years (95K miles). Do the math. They handle fine for all the cracked streets around me. My mechanic hates Pirellis and rather have me use Falken Tires.

There's plenty of better choices. Pirelli became a marketing name a long time ago

that was kinda my point. They aren't performance tires. Wait till they get low and you throw it in a hard turn in an off ramp and you become a "mustang driver". For the money there is just too much better tires that have much better characteristics.
I very seldom drive on the interstate, and when I do, most of the off ramps are cloverleafs and have a 25-mph speed zone attached to them.

They were the ZR20 summer tires and they were dogsh!t. I also have the pirelli scorpion AS plus on my '22 F150 powerboost and they too are garbage....

New information released: Pagani Utopia and Dark Horse first adopters

S650 Mustang The Dark Horse's Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo RS tires look to be the first of their kind 1688686661950

Initially launched only as an original equipment tyre, the P Zero Trofeo RS boasts even greater performance than the ordinary Trofeo R thanks to the use of motorsport-derived technology.
Launched as the most extreme road-legal Pirelli tyre yet, the new semi-slick is a technical evolution of the original Trofeo R, offering more dry performance and longevity. The RS is designed to maintain the same level of performance even after multiple track sessions at the limit due to a new motorsport-inspired multi-compound tread that also helps it deliver more consistent perform on less consistent road surfaces and in the wet.
Its new tread design also allows each tyre’s compound to be finely tuned to a higher level for each car, taking handling and weight distribution characteristics into account when developing the compound.
While the Trofeo R was originally launched as an aftermarket tyre option, the Trofeo RS will be available only as OE from manufacturers at launch, with the likes of the Pagani Utopia and Ford Mustang Dark Horse the first adopters. As a result, the Trofeo R will still be produced in select sizes, with the new Trofeo RS to launch as an aftermarket option in due course.

This new generation of semi-slick Pirelli tyres offers even more performance in the dry as well as extra consistency. When the tyre is being used most intensively, performance is maintained for longer to allow more speed and safety over several different track sessions: a result obtained thanks to Pirelli’s extensive experience in the top categories of motorsport. The materials used, especially in the tread pattern compound, make full use of that know-how, adapting it to both road and amateur track use.
Another innovation that Pirelli’s engineers had at their disposal was Virtual Geometry Development, which allowed them to assess a huge number of different profiles and footprints through virtual modelling, in order to define the reaction of the tyres to driver inputs with maximum precision.

I think my first mod will be tires instead of tint and ppf. Save these bad boys for driving that requires a helmet.

I searched the internet for alternative tires in the OEM Dark Horse HP sizes F: 305/30R19; R: 315/30R19. There are only two choices for both sizes from the same manufacturer (Pirelli and Michelin). If upsizing the rears to 325/30R19, the choices expand a bit:
