Start/Stop failure

I have a GT that was built in 3/24. I have the start/stop system and no $1000 gas guzzler tax. I'm currently at 960 miles and it has not shut down once. I checked all the conditions for to operate and still no shutdown. I'm not complaining and don't want the dealer messing with it.
I am curious if anyone else has issues with the system not working.

Maybe the mode you are in. I'm not sure but sport or track it maybe disabled.

Ours has never activated either. Build date 2/12/24 and YES ours has the button for it.

I see it turns off in sport mode (dash icon) , but it never has worked in regular mode either. I am unclear if if it is a settings issue , but I have never seen it in the menus. We are around 1500 miles on ours now , and I assumed it would activate after a certain mileage , but nope. Not complaining as we don't want it on anyways. Thought it was odd though myself. Curious to hear more from others as well.

It looks like some 2024 Mustang GT models built between November 15, 2023, and March 26, 2024, have been experiencing issues with the auto start-stop feature1. This problem is often due to the body control module (BCM) configuration1. Ford is aware of the issue and is working on a solution expected to be available around June 20241.

I'm OK with it now. I saved $1k and the system is not activating. Win/Win.

I wish I had your issue. That is a good problem to have. I have to start my car by pressing two buttons every morning in order to avoid the engine shutting off at a light.

Mine was built the last week of April 2024 and my start/stop works fine in Normal Mode.

I tried it once to see if start/stop mode worked since i have a manual and was curious. Couldn't get it to work, but i don't really care. I put my car in custom mode 1 when I start it and have it set to sport +, exhaust in track, start/stop off, and sport steering.

Guess it would depend how often you stop for stop lights. I hear cars next to me doing this and think what absurdity.
