Speed limiter 140mph?????

I have a 24 base GT w/ Mt-82 and a ford performance stage 1 Whipple installed by a dealership. My car hits the speed limiter hard at about 140-141mph. I used the Whipple tomahawk to change the wheel size and it did nothing. I was able to go 150+ pre Whipple. Does anyone know if there is a setting in forscan or somewhere else that will give me some mph back?

sounds like an error on Whipple's side. i recommend contacting them and telling them about the issue

you've raced people that will go that fast? most people i've raced will tap out at 90 or 100, with one guy going to 120 then stopped

Im actually the slower one. Most people run it out to 150-160. In this video I'm in the far lane hitting the limiter at 140

Agree with OP, ALOT of cars in my area that 60 roll freeway race… definitely tapping 160 plus… in a matter of seconds.

Yeah 140 comes up too quick for me. Most people don't like starting from a 40 either

my experience might be because i dont usually go out at night to do freeway roll races. if i race someone, its from a red light probably during the day

It sucks because I work weekends but it's the only time to race safely
