I can imagine if they had to get people to come back to the dealer the day (or day before) they had an opening it would be a clusterfuck.

Sucks that they are 3 weeks backed up but it's a combination of having 7 million recalls, shit parts reliability, and being low on staff.
Recalls are not on a three week wait, though. You can make an appointment to have that work done and show up on time and get the work done right there and then.

Just like my oil change. I called, they said, "We can do it tomorrow morning. How does 10, 10:30, or 11 sound?"

"I'll see you at 10"

"Ok, see you then."

It makes no sense to me either... why they would have to keep the car that long. Maybe because warranty work doesn't bring in enough money... it sits there until someone has some free time... and already several sitting and waiting. Baffling to say the least, as is the no rental car thing. I still say, another dealer "may" treat you better...

Yeah, three weeks minimum is not for the fix. That is just the wait to get it in to look at it and see what is wrong so that they can figure out what to fix.
How are you at getting in for a look where the leak is coming from?
If you can do that and take a pic, it might speed up the process.

I'm not, or at least I have not yet. I brought it in for an oil change and reported the loss of coolant. The dealership reported the above from its investigation while it was on the lift for an oil change.

Let us know what they find. 🤞🏻

Google tells me the plastic Y shaped pipe where the upper radiator hose connects causes a lot of leaks on Coyote engines.

That doesn't look too bad to get at. Do you have an endoscope, or can you squeeze a phone in to take a pic from underneath?
Personally, I'd rather do it myself than do without my car for 3 weeks.

Three weeks is before they could even look at it, not an estimate of how long everything will take.

I'll try to get a better look, I suppose. I just did not want to screw up the warranty by doing anything.
