That's how these things work. There are a few people on the F150 forums that get OTA's at the same time I do. We seem to be in the same group whenever Ford rolls out updates. Once one person reports getting a certain update, a few other will chime in saying they got it, too.Mine has done 2 updates as well this week :-)
Thanks again for checking! SYNC version is 23291_Product revision 1049Pure coincidence, but glad to hear. I did get my access back and I see you got 6.3.1 on 9/14 and 6.3.2 yesterday. Only a few more updates pending as shown below. It shows you have an APIM update pending, but that is not accurate. Your car didn't report itself back to the server after the APIM update yesterday, so it is still showing you have one pending, but you do not. What Sync version does your car say it is on now?

Anxiously awaiting those!Got the new gauges as well finally
Not many updates have been released for these cars. That sync version I believe is the latest one for you guys. You must likely have PCM, BCM and ABS module updates pending since all Mustangs I've checked show those.Does anyone know if my Mustang is due for updates if my SYNC software version is 24058 revision 1197? My car was build June 2024.
Thank you for checking my vehicle. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, the update will happen at some point.
That is a known issue with no known fix. You are on the latest Sync software available. The update you want does not exist yet. Ford is aware of the issue and an new APIM update is supposed to be released in Q4 for all Sync 4 vehicle to address the issues with CarPlay/AA connectivity. See attached SSM from Ford sent to all dealers in May of this year.Thank you for checking my vehicle. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, the update will happen at some point.
I was interested mostly in getting a SYNC update. At least twice since I owned the Mustang CarPlay showed only in left half of the screen. The other half is blank like is out of memory or something. I rebooted my phone and worked fine. I hope with the next APIM update will resolve stability issues with SYNC.
In the future, when it acts up, reboot the touchscreen instead of the phone. It's faster that way. For the Mustang, I believe you have to hold volume down and seek right on the steering wheel at the same time until the screen reboots, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. This is very helpful. Now I am convinced it is software related and not defective hardware. I am sure Ford software engineers will fix these glitches with the planned 2024 Q4 updates.
