Probably a dumb question, but what is the process to determine what system software version you are running to know you are stuck on 6.2.0?

My FordPass app and updates page in the vehicle have never displayed any updates notes, so I'm not sure when or if they are actually applying.
The only dumb question is a question that you don't ask. I have the same question. All I can see is the Sync version, which shows as "23206_Product." I also do not have either of the two new gauge clusters available, and FordPass shows no update history and no pending updates.

If you navigate to the "about sync" screen on your touchscreen, it will tell you which Sync software your car is on. Not every OTA gets reported to Fordpass for whataver reason. If when you check for updates in the car, it tells you that you are up to date, that means you do no have an OTA being sent to your vehicle.....it does not mean you are actually up to date.

Which is highly annoying. Based on the other pages in this thread, this is not something that the dealer can do anything for, correct? What about contacting the Sync customer support line?

Well, there's a difference between can and will. They CAN do the updates, but Ford does not pay them to update modules (warranty or not) unless there is a recall that asks them to update something or your vehicle has a specific problem that a module update will fix. You can ask them to do it, but I would brace myself for disappointment.

Well, I have to take my 'Stang in on Sunday to drop it off for dent repair, so I can ask then.

When I go there I see version 23306 and revision 1076 - is there a way to translate that to the update versions mentioned in this thread like 6.2.0 and 6.3.2?

My VIN is 1FA6P8CF8R5423435 if you get a chance to check how my updates look

Modules with pending updates for you are below; not much showing. I'm pretty sure Sync 23291/23306 are the latest versions for these cars. Difference between one and the other version may have to do with job 1 and job 2 production, but not entirely sure. You do not show any pending APIM updates, so you must be on the latest version. OTA history is recorded in PTS for 60 days at a time, so I am not able to see every OTA you've ever gotten.

To track any all all OTA updates that have been sent to the S650.

This thread has been super helpful. Thanks to you all. My head is spinning trying to sort this out so feel free to tell me to search a bit better. I bought my Dark Horse used a few months ago and haven’t received any updates. Like others I really only noticed when talk of the classic and svt gauges where I still only have the Fox body gauges available. My sync version shows 23151_product revision 902. My VIN is 1FA6P8R07R5501139. Trying to sort out how far behind my updates are and what I can do if anything. Both the car and the app say there are no new updates available. Thanks for all the help!

I bought my GT two weeks-ish ago, and I just got 6.1.0 the other day. It seems to he pretty random.

Unfortunately, I recently lost access to PTS and am no longer able to check VIN's for OTA statuses and other things. If your connectivity is working and you are able to connect your car to Fordpass, then it is just crappy luck with the OTA process.

Pure coincidence, but glad to hear. I did get my access back and I see you got 6.3.1 on 9/14 and 6.3.2 yesterday. Only a few more updates pending as shown below. It shows you have an APIM update pending, but that is not accurate. Your car didn't report itself back to the server after the APIM update yesterday, so it is still showing you have one pending, but you do not. What Sync version does your car say it is on now?
