In that case, please provide the offending process/condition with the message. Since it’s computer controlled/generated Abby (short for abnormal) should know exactly which process/item is causing the issue."it seems that message is sent when the battery is approx 50%."
There are a number of conditions that will initiate that power save mode. I have received that message with my car in the garage on the charger showing 99-100% charge.
1. Do you park in the garage?First and foremost: thanks for the heads up.

I think the FOBs use bluetooth which is extremely low power and shouldn't cause much battery drain. On the other hand, what the car does when it finds a FOB is another story. It may power up several systems and prepare it self to run and that could consume a good deal of power. On the other hand, nobody is mentioning the Cell phone. If you're in a weak reception area, the Cell phone could consume more power. I chose to shut off the external motion detectors because I park in a secure area but I am unsure how much power that actually saves.Agree with locking the car when not in use, for 1) security and 2) helping prevent the car from seeking out and pinging the fob, putting an unnecessary drain on the battery. To compliment this, purchase faraday pouches, to help prevent cloning and relay attacks. Fobs have a range of close to 30 ft / 10 m.
