Is there a may to make the infotainment screen go dark so it is not a distraction during night driving? Researching, I could not find a description of a way to turn it off.
For driving at night I prefer simply the dash on- turned down to it's lowest light level. So, unless actively using Waze, I turn it off at night in my other cars. My 21 F150 has a physical button to turn it off, and it is the 1st option on my X5's shortcut menu.

No infotainment screen means not being able to adjust heat/AC fans.

if that's not an issue, maybe get a black plastic cling sheet and put it over the screen?

Set colors to a dark blue and dimmest setting?

That's all I got....

Isn’t there an option to have the screen go black and display only the time. I’m not near my car but I thought that was an option granted it won’t be a black blank screen but might be what your looking for

I believe that is how it worked in Sync 3 on my 18 F150. A bit of a pain but worth it for a longer night drive. Anyways... I'm buying this car for the manual V8, not long night drives.😁
