MightyMars disappeared on us without an update from Palm Beach Dyno.

Maybe the board of directors at Ford Motor Company had him killed because he knew too much?
I messaged PBD a few weeks ago and they did confirm that they will adjust these settings in their tune if customer requests it. I have not seen any real world data yet though outside of e-mail communication.

Updated all the cooling (oil, coolant, shutter, and fan)setting over the weekend via VCM and my MPVI4 to match that of a DH. All temps (ac on and off) are very close to the actual temps from my direct gauge. I’ve installed the OEM oil cooler, DH fan and radiator. Very pleased with the results.

did you update the software or just mechanical updates only?

I updated the tables within the pcm using VCM and my MPVI4.

I added the external oil temp gauge several months ago so I could have an accurate oil temp reading. I added the OEM oil cooler, DH radiator and fan over a year ago.

S650 Mustang PCM Flash Needed for Oil Cooler + PP Rad on 2024 GT (Non-PP) IMG_5445

Stupid question , but does anyone know what is this electrical connector for ? This is the oil adaptor from the pp.
Is this some kind of a sensors ? Is it connected anywhere ?

On average 3-5 degrees with the standalone gauge consistently indicating a slightly cooler temp than the inferred. That’s with normal driving or limited spirited driving. Even then they were within 5 degrees. I’ve yet to see either temp indicate more than 200. I do plan on taking it to the Firm later this month where it will be interesting to see the data. I road corse the car. I’m not a drag racer.

That is the oil pressure sensor. It should have a harness connected to it that comes down directly behind the alternator on a S650. Same sensor for both Non-PP and PP/DH.

So installing the oil cooler from ford only and updating the tables will it work , or you need to install the radiator as well?

Technically you could install any heat exchanger. The question becomes the accuracy of the displayed values when installing something other than the oem exchanger. I can't say you have to change the radiator as it depends on your purpose for doing the upgrades. I track my car occasionally but wanted to keep the oem standard. Upgrading both the oil and coolant heat exchangers made sense to me from a price, quality, and practical use perspective. Reality is it's not built to be a race car but rather a car I can enjoy occasionally on the track and know that the systems I've updated will support my intended use for the car. I've made cooling updates (oil, coolant, rear diff), suspension (coil overs, bars, camber plates), switched to DH Handling Pack wheels and tires, and updated the pcm to the reflect a DH when is comes to cooling. Car does everything I want on and off the track.

what cooling system did you use for the rear differential ? how about your transmission cooling?

Complete rear differential cooler is OEM from a 2022 GT500. Changed the rear lower bumper and under splash shield to a DH. MT82 does not have a cooler, yet. Working on a solution as we speak.
