Over a week and no response from the DAR team, which is really disappointing. I've sent another email asking to pay for return shipping to get a refund, but I doubt they will even respond. If I don't get any response back, I'd be willing to throw it up here for sale for a pretty low price considering you'd have to do some work to get it to fit correctly, but honestly I don't know if I'd feel right even doing that. Ended up ordering one of the Ebay Clone Spoilers, seems to be more documented for installs.

It’s a shame they won’t respond to email. Have you tried calling them? I normally could reach them during business hours by phone. Ask to speak to George.

I actually ended up getting a response after business hours, I'm going to chalk it up to my original message not going through or getting lost, so that's on me. Hopefully the dialogue goes well.

Best of luck! Hopefully they get you a partial refund.

Sorry for the late reply, I ended up canceling my DAR order because I was able to get my hands on a second hand 2024 PP Spoiler which I just installed on my Mustang. Wish I could of been more help!

Hey fellas, been lurking for a bit and just joined. I went ahead and ordered the DAR spoiler and once I get it installed I'll post some pics and my opinion. Gonna be a few weeks until I get it and install it. Thanks to anyone else who took the leap and gave us the information.

I spoke with DAR on the phone this morning. They have no plans at this time to offer the 2024-25 Gen7 Performance Package style wing for either the coupe or convertible. They're sticking with the Gen6 style only. Thppptt! Come on, aftermarket guys! Where's all the Mustang stuff?

Ssssoooo………….got my GT back from the body shop today.

Forum: OMG! 😲 It’s new! What happened to it?!

Wiley: Elective cosmetic surgery. Nose and tail job.

Translation: Had my local shop remove my OEM chrome/black 5.0 and rear GT badges in favor of cheap satin black furrin’ badges (they are all metal—and were $25 vs about $180 for OEM reaplacements) which really pop against my Candy Apple Wine (Rapid Red) paint!

And, had them peel off that miserable excuse of an OEM rear spoiler the car came with in favor of a DAR “painted to match” rear wing, and an Air Design splitter (to replace that miserable excuse of an OEM splitter the car came with). Just sayin………………..

The shop (family owned and operated since 1980) co-owner told me the “furrin” badges and AD splitter went on with NP. NOT quite the XP they had with the DAR rear wing.

First off; EXCELLENT paint match! Secondly the wing mounting holes “almost” matched the stock spoiler mounting holes; and much worse the entire wing was slightly “rotated lengthways”.

Forum: WTF does that mean, Wiley?! 🤔

Wiley: Glad you asked!

Imagine grabbing the wing ends with your hands and rotating the L end forward and the R end rear ward? End result? None of the DAR wing mounting surfaces sat flat on my rear deck! The shop heated the entire wing up and applied counter rotational torque to it (no idea how they did either) to return it to true.

Forum: What?!

Wiley: Once heated; they twisted it back to true so the end and middle mounting points were flat and true with my rear deck. And they had to add some kind of material to the wing end mounting locations to get the supplied mounting screws through the OEM mounting holes and securely into the wing. They did a fantastic job of sealing everything (OEM holes in the deck lid, etc) up with expertly applied and aesthetically appealing additional beads of sealant to prevent potential leaks!

My point/s? Cheap furrin badges and AD splitter fitted and looked great, DAR spoiler looks great AFTER major massaging amounting to hours of extra effort and expense (NO WAY I could have done it on my own) to get it right. The Shop co owner said it was NOT a well built/accessory/part. Potential buyers should be aware.

Yea, yea, yea………………….I’ll post pics later.

No. It’s on pretty good. The bolts aren’t hard to get to but breaking loose the tape is tough. I used fishing braid to pull and cut through the tape
I use dental floss it's flatter and kinda saws the tape 🪚

Glad to hear it worked for you, had the same exact issue with mine curving as I detailed above, but definitely wished they made that more clear at purchase. Still haven't gotten any response from them, and I sorta gave up on it. If anyone considers buying it make sure you read above what you have to do to make it work.

Not sure how they heated the wing up. The GM/Co-Owner said something to the effect it was one of the more difficult "get it to fit right" projects the Shop Tech who worked on my GT had dealt with. Apparently this guy likes doing semi/custom cosmetic--hot rod type stuff. Did a real nice job of it- for sure!

If you like; I'll get a hold of the GM and ask how his guy heated the wing to twist it back to true?

PS: Pretty sure it wasn't a hair dryer! 😆

Probably not lol, but I'm all set now, went with a clone DH spoiler from Ebay that required less fiddling. But hopefully I can find a use for my old DAR one rather than just pitching it. . .

OK......................bit belated [I am a slacker 😔] but here's the pics of my DAR rear wing; Air Design splitter.......................and my newly acquired SVE R355 19 x 11 and 19 x10 wheels with Nitto tires.

Oh yea......................and my cheapo furrin' badges.

Dang! I don't know if it's my camera; if I'm just a crappy photographer, or more likely both but I'm darned if I can get an accurate color reproduction of my Rapid Red! Ggggggrrrrr!!!!!!!
