New Dark Horse spoiler, need a little help.

I purchased a Dark horse spoiler from AM. They tell you up front, they don’t provide assembly instruction. I need a little help figuring out why there are 7 bolts that are slightly longer (2 or 3 threads). Maybe to attach the spoiler to the deck lid?

The videos they have on their site show assembly for this and related spoilers doesn't mention anything about longer bolts or plastic pieces.

Thanks in advance for any personal first hand experience you can share.

They are unfortunately all variations of the same copy. They vary wildly from batch to batch. AM is just selling an up priced ebay spoiler. To answer your question go to Home depot, lowes or ace and bring the bolt with you check it in those thread/size gauges they have in the hardware aisle and see if they have a longer version that will work.

Sadly, I saw that too. AM response was, “don’t think you can drill the holes out bigger” ….. should I have too?
