I believe the reason they stoped the import is the upcoming Euro 7 in November 2025. That being said, if you order now, there is high probability car would arrive by November and that is the time Euro 7 comes in place. One more interesting thing. If you look at german configurator now, they dropped the price by @ 10% to approximately 60k € from original 66-67k. Seems like they are trying to sell out remaining stock.

We know the Mustang just had the worst sales year in it's history. Perhaps the orders from Europe were simply too low to justify.

Regarding the tariffs, they are still rather low compared to the past.
I'm not sure about that. NZ is a tiny market, but we're still getting stock. And it's RHD.

It's quite the opposite, this is because of suicide politics applied by the EU. Not only the imported cars costs a lot more here (and that's since 20 years.. it has nothing to do with Trump), but also because we driven our own industry to fail in the name of a idiotic and unsustainable "green deal". //end of political rant

@GrabThatBlue ..... I salute your efforts to help fellow Mustang brothers get the cars they want in Europe. That said, I don't appreciate your political comment that "the United States is making a tarif (sic) war with the whole world." I lived in Europe for four years and was well aware at that time that even the most basic statistical analysis showed that Europe had been screwing America with utterly unfair trade practices for a long time and is now whining like a bunch of scalded cats since the United States has said enough with the B.S. It's about time Europe got some of its own medicine back. My advice to you is to stick with Mustang advice and forget the political/financial comments out until you are better educated.
Trump placed extra tarrifs on 180 countries. That's a tarrif war with the world.
How is it possible we can say everything about other countries, but when it comes to the US we should stay quiet? You don't want to make it political but you chose to react with the chance that I would react as well. It's funny that you want to silence me from saying something about the US and at the same time you do the same while you advice me to not bring politics in the game.

We can say everything about Russia, China, Middle East, Europe. No issues. But when somebody is saying something about the US that you don't like to hear, we should stop talking politics. That's not how it works.

Just about the whole world puts tariffs on US products. When the US does it back, suddenly there's a problem? 🙄

We all know why this is happening........

We have a nut loose in the White House.

Until resolved, things will be screwed up.
How about you keep ignorant comments like this over on your liberal TDS discussion forums?.

We build a major component for a large majority of Ford and Lincoln products, including both LHD and RHD Mustangs. I can have our MPL folks check releases to see what Ford is currently telling us what to expect to ship in the future weeks and months.

You said the US started it. FYI, the person that throws the first punch is the one starting it. The one that punches back didn't start it.

This is a web site which offers visual breakdowns of trade of products the world over; it's quite granular. The free data is current to 2023.

- Once there, search for a country. We'll use "Czech" in this example

- Initially, you'll see the Pro (paid) information. Continue to scroll down

- You'll then see trade data, up to and including 2023

The site gives anyone an idea of the relationships involved between countries. It's complex.

The US GOV maintains information on 10,000+ line items that are traded with the rest of the world.

https://dataweb.usitc.gov/

Ford has halted all exports to China. There's plenty of news on that. Regarding the EU market, I could not locate any articles on Ford's exports to the EU. There are several pages highlighting EU manufacturers: they've stopped exporting their models to the US. While trade across the pond remains possible, once the price is adjusted, the product becomes unsellable.

There's no clear guidance on the way ahead. Compounding these concerns is US brands overseas aren't really pegging the popularity meter right now. While the markets could return to normal overnight, I'm not sure general buyer interest would come back as quickly.

OP, hodně štěstí ve vaší zemi.

OP, Good Luck in your country.

Not ignorant. Well educated.

Truth is tough to take when you refuse to step back and look at the big picture of what is happening instead of just picking the bits and pieces (there are a few that make sense) that makes you happy.

Rant over.

Greetings to all.
I am reading this forum every day over a year now. Preparing for my new Mustang order which should take a place today. So celebrating and going to make new order far away from home into germany, where best offer was made. Upon arrival to ford dealer today, I came into shock! Last week, all orders for new cars were closed and no more orders for Europe to be placed anymore from now on - as per the dealer. According to them they had no info about it coming, and they don’t know whether imports of s650 would come back to life again. That’s a horrifying scenario for me! I had no choice though, I had to take one of the stock of last delivery awaiting to be cleared in Cologne in germany. Of course in different color I had wished. I see Mustangs in stock at dealerships are being rapidly sold out and therefore is far less to choose from than just few weeks ago! Please let me know what do you think, if that is true for all EU countries… ? It seems the last and shortly standing muscle car here came to the end so fast without notice. I wonder whether it is EU response on US harsh import cuts, or upcoming Euro 7 in Nov 2025. I also heard rumor from ford, there might be brand new Mustang generation coming to Europe in future. I don’t know what to think. Well… please, what are you thoughts?
Order reliability wasn’t thrilling before the counter-tariffs were put into place. I ended up buying a standard GT, then started rebuilding it to meet my requirements. It is what it is. Besides, a new color is a new wrap or paint job away. Stoked you got one while ya still can! Congrats!
