If they are going to throw Boss into the mix....I mean I thought they were trying to move forward and attract a new generation.....not play to the boomer crowd?

The Dark Horse HP all ready has all the cooling needed - dont understand this article

The car needs less weight not more power - but could they go to a 5.2 Predator block less blower with cross plane crank?

One thing the Shelby cars had compared to the Dark Horse and Mach 1 was the wider front end- the Shelby cars are a few inches wider but this is not the case on the prototype seen
I doubt the Boss will only play to the older buyers. Young people who know a thing or two will know what the Boss is.

Without revealing my own age too much - in my younger years, the S197 Boss 302 was my dream car. I could definitely buy one now but I have other priorities.

I can see it now - a MY12 Boss 302, a Heritage Edition GT350, and the S650 Cobra equivalent in my garage... one can only dream, but I dream with effort. 😍

Too many trim levels. Ford has a bad habit of that.

There's 9 Broncos (not counting the bronco sport). Why? Black Diamond, Big Bend, Badlands, Raptor, Heritage Edition, Heritage Limited Edition, Everglades, WildTrak, Outerbanks....

Ecoboost
GT
Dark Horse/Boss
GT500

Leave it at that. Get rid of the fugly California Style one too.

A car should be defined by its engine so the GT should've been the DH to begin with.

Has been and will always be the best way to differentiate each individual model. Eco=small engine, GT = regular V8, GT350 = a GT with an upgraded engine, GT500 = GT with the biggest engine...
