After reading all of these possible model names, numbers, etc., there is yet another model we won't see from Ford... A Mustang in white, and I'm not talking about the color!

Once upon a time, you could buy a Mustang in white (only primer) with a whole slew of deletes, and a few options you couldn't get otherwise. While meant for racing venues, a savvy buyer could get one in street clothes. I wonder why they don't do this now?

AM pushbutton radio, heater, no a/c, vinyl bucket seat from a 1970 van, no carpeting on the floor . . . LOL

For the track sure, but for the street, afraid not. Car could never meet safety regs and therefore couldn’t be registered.

Almost looks like one of them tapped their tips. square tips and alignment oh boy sure will be interesting to see the ‘gap’ conversations.

When a pony grows up it becomes a cobra or a boss?

Those exhaust tips are awful
I don’t know if those Exhaust Tips are awful, but they could’ve done something more exotic!
They are certainly different & Odd.

Well we can end all speculation folks, it has been officially confirmed as the up and coming, one and only, incredible, super-awesome supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (there was an auto-correct for that, by the way) .......

Super-Special Dark Californicating Cobra-Donkey Snake-Boss Bullitt ..... R

SSDCCDSBBR will be a hell of a logo to clean around. But the wheel track is getting 3 in wider to accommodate the wider trunk panel needed to fit the model name, so it should be good for handling.

I'm not sure how to handle this or these new models. I was never a fan of the name "Dark Horse"!
IMHO, I think we will see the Cobra and a Cobra R. The Shelby name is starting to wear out since they built so many newer models. I would like another BULLITT but that name is being placed on the last page of the Ford history book.
What I do know is that most of the working class out their will dream of this car but can't afford it.
When you can afford a used model, you won't be able to afford repairs or maintenance.
The same is true of the C-8 Corvette.
For most people...The Thrill is Gone!

How about a Boss 429 with the Godzilla Engine. Ford did put one in a GT350 test mule few years ago.
The new prototype looks like it's hiding it's bulge a little better. :giggle:
The old GT350 was packing some heat. 😅
