The CEL it’s throwing is P04DB. it’s related to the PCV sustemnot A/F or anything else.
and there you go....Skye summed it up perfectly. as these cars get more and more electronics in them, especially with the PCM/ECM's, they become extremely sensitivity to changes and without being able to "tune" them to adjust for changes, CEL's will be expected. personally, I would not be doing any changes with A/F, etc., till cracking the code becomes available, which may be never.

Yes I’ve detached them countless times and to new to be plugged but checked anyway. No clue. Thanks for the tips though everything helps and is good to hear!

On my 06 GT, instead of cleaning my oiled JLT CAI filter, they had developed a high flow paper filter, and also a high flow protective wrap to go around it. I feel if you need a high flow filter, that’s the way to go. But that filter required a tune. Can’t remember if the filter itself or the entire CAI unit required a tune, but I did have to buy an SCT tuner for it to work.

And every mechanic I talked to said oiled filters are highly likely to foul your MAF sensor.

Both Roush Racing and aFe make composite air intake filters that are DRY. You can buy a dedicated cleaner for them or wash them in warm water with a bit of dish detergent. Afterwards they must be completely dried. They can be "washed" many times. We built engines and would not install oiled filters on them for too many reasons to list here.

Yep. Problem with most oiled filters is that when people go to clean them, they oil the bejesus out of the filter and foul the MAF.

Sound like this is another issue though. Hopefully the OP comes back amd gives us an update.
